I wish they would make the elites smaller in multiplayer so they wouldn’t be so fat, hunched over, and slow looking. Multiplayer doesn’t need to be canon, what if the spartans had to fight a race of midget sangheili? At least they would move gracefully…like they did in Halo 1.

I thought they moved pretty gracefully in Halo 3

what?!
Most sangheili players I know are hardcore gamers, they played alot of ranked as them in h3. If the model doesn’t have much difference with the hitbox and that they are not hunched over, why prevent them from being in ranked?
Reach has showed me how annoying it was to not be able to play as my favorite species and I definitely do not want to repeat the experience in halo 4.

You do realise they can make it so it has the same hitbox as a spartan right? Which is basically what we have been talking about to everyone who has posted a comment like this?

As long as its COMPLETELY FAIR I don’t care. Elites were almost completely fair, but they had an advantage to them. Bungie said they used the same character model, but why then would it be impossible (or nearly) to shot them in the head from behind? Why would people want to constantly use elites in SWAT?
I still laugh at how stupid dinos look though. I don’t see why anyone would like to play as them.

I still laugh at how stupid spartans look. Elites do have a huge front head though.
I dont understand why some spartan -Yoink- have a problem with elites. I mean, how would they like it if they couldn’t play as spartans? They’d cry all day like a bunch of -Yoinks!-, and who cares they can make spartans and elites EQUAL, you know, that thing that means 1 isnt better than the other. I really hate those ignorant “Spartan-only” -Yoink-.
Im a spartan player but i do very much love the elites. I will play as an elite in custom games just because of how cool they really do look. In reach anyway. In halo 3, face it, they did sort of look stupid.

Wraith. Unmatched when used correctly.
Having said that, plasma rifle can be as effective as a BR/DMR at long range. Needle rife/needler combo can rule.
Thing is, covenant weapons are not as straightforward as UNSC weapons. That’s why the average player won’t use them. That, and the fact that they were designed to be inferior to their UNSC counterparts since Covenant tactics did not involve prolonged ground battles. Still, I just think Sangheili weapons are more eloquent than other weapons. They do, in fact, require more skill (or at least a different skill set).
I support this thread and the idea that H4 needs Sangheili. Where indeed would Halo be without them? Earth would have been a ball of glass and all sentient life in the galaxy would have ceased to exist. Master Chief wasn’t enough.

Goodness knows that when I’m on a good roll I can utterly destroy the enemy team with it without taking much damage in the process.
Anyways I like the way the elites in halo 3 campaign (In the cutscenes they don’t look like they are doubled over) But in Reach they really look impressive, they look like they can throw spartan III’s across the hanger of a corvette.
Basicly I like Elites to stand up tall, them hunching over just looks pitiful.
