It’d be great for it to go back to H2 & 3 style. I know H2A is only meant to be an “upgrade” or “modern re-imagining” of the original, but if it’s anything to go by, it could be like that in H5.
Just throwing around an idea: But do you think the feature of changing the Elites’ skin shade-from light like the Elites in H4, to a darker shade like the original-would be a good idea? Though the original style would probably be used far more, as it seems to be more favoured than the paler design.

Yeah changing Sangheili skin tone would be pretty sweet.

Ask when Halo has as many playable races as Destiny. When I see some Brutes running around Blood Gulch or Valhalla, I’ll give you my thoughts on the subject.
theres a lot of people saying ‘do we need elites’ and things like that. are elites essential? no. will halo 5 be an unplayable shamble without them? no. but games arent about the very bare bones required to play them, added feature are what appeal. omitting things like that is just stupid. why not have it? it adds to customization and pleases people, whilst removing nothing from the game. thats like saying ‘remove forge, its not really needed’. its an awesome feature which adds variety, same as playable elites.
I have noticed some pattern with the multiplayer maps. In Halo CE, we saw no Covenant themed maps and we only played as Spartans, when we go into Halo 2, we see several Covenant themed maps and Elites are now playable. Halo 3-Reach also see Covenant themed maps as well as playable Elites in some form. Now we move to Halo 4 which had no Cove maps at all and Elites are not playable. With the recent reveal of Halo 5 Guardians multiplayer beta, we see the return of the multiplayer map Midship, which is also a Covenant themed map, so could this be a possible sign that Elites will be playable in some form, in Halo 5.

That seems more like a coincidence than a pattern, but hopefully I’m wrong on this one.

Damnation and chill out would like to have a word with you…
> Still curious on how the Elite’s will look like in Halo 5. The ones in H2A look much better compared to Halo 4. Hopefully they will look just as good.
If people like the ones in Halo 2 Anniversary enough they might just put them into Halo 5, perhaps with a few modifications.
With any hope. They may just release H2A with playable Elites to satisfy the Sangheili fanbase while they move on to Halo 5: Gaurdians and continue with the SPARTAN identity.
The Elite armor for H2A looks pretty good. Doesn’t look like we can mix and match armor pieces like Halo 3 though. Adding in that simple feature for Elites and Spartans if they haven’t already would be nice. Even though it might not be so simple to add.
Well it took two and a half years, but we’re finally getting playable elites again. I for one am very happy. Hopefully that trend continues into Halo 5 Guardians.
Now if only 343i would give this thread an official response
im happy to see how the sangehili look now. They look more elite then ever and we can play as them finally. Lets hope Halo 5 will have the same thing as well now.
This is just me being nitpicky but…the constant focus on Spartans every time I look at halo is starting to rub me the wrong way. Am I just the only one or not?
