I would be cool with the Reach “Large” Elites with different stats to return in Invasion ONLY.
However in standard play, Elites should be scaled to Spartan size and given the same speed, shield, and health stats. And if both aren’t possible, the scaled, equal stat type is the one that should appear in every gamemode.
Just watched the new terminal trailer and am so excited!!! 343 might actually be listening to us! We get a halo 2 anniversary demo with elites then the Arbiter narrates the halo 5 teaser AND the terminal trailer. Seems like Arby’s making a comeback along with his fellow Sangheili! Cant wait to hear more of his story in the H2A terminals! If things continue to go well for us, we may even be able to play as Thel once again in Halo 5!

At this point, that’d be the smart thing to do, seeing as people hated Halo 2/3’s hunched, predatory stances for Elites. Besides, Gears of War’s been doing it for years; how else would you explain Skorge and RAAM suddenly being Gear-sized? It could totally work for Elites if they stop with this silly War Games thing, or at least be willing to overlook a slight canon error.

Honestly, I’m making assumptions in regards to Halo 2’s multiplayer. Played the hell out of Campaign, but I didn’t get to XBox Live until Halo 3.
One thing is certain the Elites are going to be in this new MCC game now Halo 5 is what we have to wait for.

I know one was because the tech wasn’t powerful enough to have armor as DLC for FPS games.

That and considering at the time of Reach and beyond it was the only Elite weapon that fires red plasma, I know the Brute-Plasma Rifle existed Halo2 but what’s the likely chance that will ever show up again in Halo5?

I’m not sure I’d be thrilled about Arbiter armor for Legendary. Not only would it lessen the coolness of the armor, but we’d have a billion Arbiters running around in War Games, and eventually the armor would loose it’s value.

The only reason that would be a problem is because Sangheili have never really had a great variety of armor. The most we had was the 8 sets in Reach. Now you look at Halo 4 and I think there was about 40 or more sets for the Spartans.
If they included every Sangheili armor set within the series, as well as going back and adding in some of the scrapped ideas/concepts and giving the ability to mix and match parts again I don’t think it would be an issue.

Even still, look at the Mark VI in Halo 4: It’s been used so much it doesn’t even hold significance anymore.
Better yet, look at Emile’s EVA helmet. The helmet is so overused, it’s hard to take it seriously anymore.
I’d hate to have the same feeling for Arbiter’s armor.
I wouldn’t mind having “heretic” armor from Halo 2 to wear later down the road. >.>;

Solo legendary? People usualy dont complete it alone ,but I may be wrong.How about Complete H2A LASO…Good reward,almost no one would have it.

Seeing us get Halo 2 back with all we love. (including the Sangheili) It would put me back to high hopes if we got back that halo 3 style with different armor variations; it made the armor better yet that almost all required multiplayer achievements that were more of a challenge then a persistence.
Ex. the two for one: get a double kill with a spartan laser.
I’m still trying for it today just because had a reward for me that I could show off to some buddies, also could mean that whoever has a commando or ascetic helmets usually meant business due to it being an overkill achievement, or a triple kill with an energy sword.

STOP. THAT EXCUSE IS AWFUL. I can’t stand hearing things like this.
Just because you have an irrational hatred towards popular things doesn’t mean we should deny people the ability to wear that gorgeous Arbiter armor in multiplayer.
-Yoink-, I’ve been dying to use it on my elite in multiplayer since 2004 and if you want to go full hipster here and come to hate it just because people will be wearing it then shame on you!
