No, but I’d rather have Ascetic. Nothing personal, but have you seen those awesome tusks?
I know everyone considers anyone who plays elite a noob but ive played elite in h2 and h3 and managed to get to level 46 in the halo3 mlg playlistm though i must admit i played spartan in mlg because actually mlg rules required standard armor. But i played as an elite in every other playlist. Plus it was a great feeling to get a running riot when everyone expected you to be horrid at the game because your an elite. LOLS

Trouble is people underestimate someone because of there appearance. My skill is average even as a Spartan.

Oh, that armor was great!, I can’t wait to see H2A Honor Guards, but I want Commando and Councillor armors too.

i always preferred the default halo3 elite armor where you could see the elites face and teeth
I’ve been playing halo since CE was released and have been a fan of the sangheili since the arbiter was introduced. I grew up with halo and plan to live with it, being able to play as my favorite characters is what made the games special. When I got halo 4 I only played much of the campaign before returning to reach simply because I could not play as that character. Now that I am a machinima director I even need to be able to play as an elite to further expand my stories, and I am sure other machinima directors can agree with me that we need the elites to make better quality machinima.
I am praying halo 5 has playable elites in it with very few limitations; as the game will be the only game I will buy with the xbox one. If I do not see elites in this game, as well as other well-known demands then not only will 343i loose an abundance of hope, but also loose its veterans.

Indeed, having Elites is one of the best things about Halo. Its the third most wanted in the majority of wants in Halo.
I’m sure that’s what the claim was.

For me, it won’t be a factor in buying the game. It’ll just be a factor for how much faith I have in 343.

Yup,we shouldn’t let our prejudice get in the way of subjectivity.Even without Sangheili,Halo 5 has the potential to be a great game,but without it,it just won’t be as great of a game as it could have with Sangheili.
For those whom have the inclusion of playable Sangheili as a deciding factor of their purchase of Halo 5,and thereof purchase of an Xbox One,I’m sure 343i will be inclined to include playable Sangheili so as not to hurt their profit margin.
After being on this thread for about a year,I’m still rather optimistic about the availability of Sangheili as playable characters.My disdain towards the lack of Sangheili as player models is probably what brought me here.To every cloud there is a silver lining.

Easily this. I know that Elites have this amazing physiology and background history and all, but not buying Halo for Skin alts is too silly to me… Too childish in fact. Buying games not for gameplay is problematic to me. Sorry if i’ve had said it like this but these are my thoughts.
But we should not worry though, 343 is well aware that this thread is a big deal for our community, they even showed an Elte immediately in the Halo 2 Mp demo. The producer even pointed it out.

It may seem childish to some, but I never played Halo 4 as much because Elites were not in, despite the fact that I liked Halo 4 (I liked Halo reach and 3 more on that part of course)

Never thought I would see or hear about the prophets again. It is said on the forerunner saga that pre-covenant prophets are supposed to be beautiful right? If so I’d love to see a prophet from Janjur Quom.

In Halo 3 Commando was my favorite, but ever since H2 I’ve wanted Honor Guard! 1000x Yes!
I want to see all these:
Arbiter (H2), Honor Guard (H2), Councilor (H2), Commando (H3), Ultra (Reach), Zealot (H4).
