Wow, look at all you kids with elites as your userpics. Obviously this is a thread for the casuals, only noobs and casuals (same thing, but no offense) care about elites being in matchmaking.

Im making reference to sword block, who puts a block to a power weapon? Its like saying “press melee to block a scorpion shot or a rocket shot” No one would let that pass, but they let it slide for the sword for some reason.

CASUAL? This proves how ignorant you are about sangheili players. Most of us actually read the books, we make huge research to make sure ranking tiers for our clans are actually canon. Most sangheili in this thread would probably know more about the halo universe then you do and if you look most also have a k/d of 1.40 and +

well the playermodel we use is for elite aka sangheili, we just dont use marine slang terms to make reference to ourselves and its like calling a mechanic a noob because hes a mechanic and is called as such

Elites should not be taken out of MM, just cause you dont want to be one doesnt mean other people shouldnt. Halo is known for not taking out good ideas, and playing as an elite was one of the best ideas ever introduced to players, better than firefight and possibly even forge.

Seriously though, I was extremely disappointed when I couldn’t play as a Sangheili in Halo: Reach.
Well, permanently at least. I hated being forced to play as a Spartan 24/7.
Not saying I don’t like Spartan’s, because I do.
But I really missed the customization of both of my characters.
I can understand making us have to play as different species in Invasion,
but in any other MM game type you should be able play as either.
