I honestly doubt so.Its apparent some are still unaware of the timeline Halo Xbox One takes place.Halo Xbox One is NOT Halo 5,Microsoft and 343i themselves announced that Halo 5 would be a future project, hence leading some to conclude that Halo Xbox One is in a sense Halo 4.5,taking place after the events of Halo 4 but before Spartan Ops,the latter of which takes place 6 months later.Through this, one can conclude that Halo Xbox One takes place within that 6 month gap in time.Look at this,it makes complete sense.
> Speaking of canonical multiplayer, the trailer videos for Halo Xbox One seem directed at Chief solely,in search of Mendicant Bias, with no apparent sign of the UNSC Infinity.Should multiplayer persist being canonical,it doesn’t necessarily point towards maintaining the canonical aspect of Infinity’s simulations, though it’d be likely for this canon to remain constant.

I still don’t see the problem.
So analyzing those pics, I have to think a few things.
Maybe we can customize Arby
Arby has a new look…and cape to go along with the Master Poncho of Chief.
We can at least fight Elites in MM
It still doesn’t confirm if we can play as my Worters…my cyan spec ops bad***es

I could give you a long detailed list of reasons why Elites should not just be AIs but all you need to know is that Elite players deserve equal treatment to the Spartan players who have their own canonical custom characters. Simple as that.
But don’t get the wrong idea, any chance of having Elites in War games no matter in what form is beyond excellent news.
I just had a thought.
There are people that would like to have the color of their Spartan’s under suit to be customisable.
I was just wondering what the Elite equivalent of that would be? Any ideas everyone?

Probably the Elite undersuit that they all wore up until Halo 4 when they went sleeveless.

Oh…Never noticed that Elites had under suits up until 4. Oops.
the fact that the OP of this monster thread has over 850 Thanks is one helluva statement, just sayin’
clearly we like elites.

Well, seeing as how their -blam!-s weren’t hanging out, it was well implied. It’s very prominent in Halo 3 and Reach.

I guess I can agree with that…I lose.

Reach’s Sangheili did also have under suits, this can be observed if you look at the areas of which lacked armor, such as the gap between the shoulder piece and the arm guard, but just a different texture and fabric. It’d be sweet if we could customize that though, not just in terms of color but material as well.I’m sure we’ll see the return of the Storm Covenant, after all Halo Xbox One does take place between Halo 4 and Spartan Ops(Don’t quote me on that one,its just Halo Follower’s speculation but with good reason),so their armor permutation will most likely be retained. However I do think we’ll see Arbiter and his men with different armor permutations.Being able to choose Sangheili armor permutations between the Storm Covenant’s and the heretical Arbiter’s faction would certainly be a treat.

Wait…I know for sure that it wouldn’t be like that if there were no under suits.
Here it is. No visible junk down there plus the dark skin made the undersuit hard to spot. Though I suppose dark skin or not after ten years of Halo I should have noticed by now.

In the Halo: Escalation Book/Comic, they showed pictures of the
Arbiter in newer armour, with even some kind of visor. He has also a Ascetic, or whatever you call them elite from Halo 3, leading me to assume that the armout and elites may come back. Thhey even mentioned about Elites in their simulation…(they are AI)
I just want the Elites to look more intimidating and have better suited armor
looks over at Jul

This is just speculation, but I personally think Thel’s new armor is ceremonial. I can’t say why I think its ceremonial because I haven’t received the comic yet and the armor would just look strange in a combat setting.

I for one don’t think it is Thel but then again I haven’t read the comics. If that is his new armor then I for one am angry!

Still doesn’t change the fact that it is only in Invasion.
What we really want is full Elite playability. Even if the option to turn them off existed (or “Force Player Model”) in custom options existed that way MLG/Throwdown, SWAT, and Snipers could default to Spartans Only (Which will keep whining at a minimum). We would be happy to be included so long as our own model appears in all the standard modes.
> I for one don’t think it is Thel but then again I haven’t read the comics. If that is his new armor then I for one am angry!
That is Thel, the one and only that we know hasn’t even died so far as our current Arbiter…

Does it specifically say it is Thel? If so I am mad! For one they changed his armor and not for the better, and they made him look like a Halo 4 elite which is completely unacceptable! If it doesn’t specifically say it is him then it could be another Arbiter because the Asetics were around around the beginning of the Covenant as well as being revived after the schism.

It’s Thel, there is no other Arbiter that is the 'Vadam family Kaidon.
If you’re talking about his skin, it’s only dotted like that in one picture.
If you’re talking about his armor, it’s ceremonial. You don’t wear your best combat armor to a peace meeting.
