What is funny is that you actually seem to believe that 343i gives a -Yoink- whether you or whatever few hundred Sangheili that are left in the community purchase their next game. It not about boycotting the game or not, it’s making sure our voice is heard, whatever voice we have left. We are a dying breed. Our community was once glorious and powerful, but now because of recent events and the selfishness of many, we are reduced to ashes. What’s the most important thing for us Sangheili to do now is stick together, and tell the the rest of the Halo community that we are still here and fighting for what we believe in.
And stop letting those damn Spartan-rejects into our clans. I hate that -Yoink-.

Us sticking together fat chance theirs a lot of differences between a lot of people, and seems to be a lack of respect for smaller clans and kids who may be bad.
True. The Spartan rejects need to clan hopp onto another Spartan Clan.

Sticking together as in staying active in the community. Sure, people may hate each-other, but as long as we are hating each-other TOGETHER it’s helpful.

If we’re having Elite players stick together I’ve got a question.
My situation is kinda weird. I’m a Spartan player but one of friends is an Elite player that doesn’t have access to this forum so I speak on his behalf in support of bringing Elites back.
Where do I fit in here?

You don’t have to “fit” anywhere. Just the fact that you support your friend’s and our community is great.
What I am saying is that the community is not going to get anything done if they bicker and quit Halo, that accomplishes absolutely nothing. We as the Halo communityl need to make a difference, wish is already happening as we speak. These forums, Twitter, email, etc. are all contributing to help us communitcate with 343i with ideas that could make the next Halo amazing. And since 343i is more involved with the community even more than Bungie was, I’ll be -Yoink!- if they’re not listening to at least some of our ideas.
343i realizes their mistakes and Bungie’s, and I believe the next installment in the series is going to be the best Halo game to date. But, if we don’t stay together as a community and continue to make our self’s heard, the next Halo game may be missing something quite major. We need to let 343i know that the Sangheili community is still alive and fighting.

Yes, but think about it. A big part of why we’re now just the few hundred that are left is because of Elite players not getting Elites, and not playing anymore. Bringing Elites back gives 343i the chance to not only retain those of us that are left, but also to possibly bring back the ones that already stopped playing.
What is this once glorious and powerful Sangheili community I hear of?I ask as I was only formally introduced and got involved in Halo in the glory days of Reach in mid 2012.How big were we once were. Was it in the days of Halo 3 that our numbers were most numerous.Just how many people have stopped playing Halo purely because Sangheili were excluded from the trilogy in Halo 4.If the number is anything substantial than for the merry mother of god reintegrate them in Halo Xbox One 343!Though I’m optimistic about good looking Sangheili player models’ return debut,I hope than when O’Connor said he understood the community’s “needs and wants” that he didn’t mean “Let the development team go for a very long coffee break and then we’ll discuss this.”

Halo 2 and 3 specifically. Back in Halo 3 Bungie stated that 1 in 10 players played as Sangheili, ant that was rounded down. Considering Halo 3 had the largest constant population of any Halo game to date, that means that Halo 3 had by far the largest Elite community.
Most of the reason the community started failing in Reach was because Elites were removed from Matchmaking on all fronts other than Invasion (which you only played an Elite half the time in), and the VERY rare case of getting Elite Slayer voted in. With less of the Elite Community caring quite so much about Reach’s other failings.
There were literally thousands of Elite players. Some Elite clans breached 100 members on their own, with even smaller Elite clans boasting 20-40 members. It was glorious.
Today the average Elite clan falls between 8 and 15 members, with only larger ones spiking to maybe 30 tops.
I honestly don’t care if Elites are a selectable character in multiplayer. In fact I hope they aren’t. It would take too much time for 343 to try to balance them (their size/hitbox) and well as give them custom armor pieces that could be used to work on other more important things.
However, that being said, I would love to see Invasion return.

So basically what your saying is that you would rather have Cookies’n cream cake, but without the cake part then and prefer to just keep it plain and not added anything special.
Just saying, considering your speaking in a Elite Forum topic that has a lot of support on it and such. That plus the fact that Invasion just isn’t fun if it is just Spartans focusing on each other and that is it. No variety, no extra stuff added, no nothing. Just simple and boring.

Not really. Also 343I could use games like H2 and H3 for references when making Elites. Also maybe we should just shove all the Spartans under one playlist and call it “Insurrectionist” where they just fight insurrectionists. Finally, forcing people to play one gametype just to play their desired player model is ridiculous, and trust me if they did that to the Spartan players, the fanbase would bring 343I to their knees because they’re the bigger community.

Precisely! They could see what worked and didn’t work with those models, and make one that more or less solves what problems the others had. Yes, I know, easier said than done, but still… I’m sure they could come up with something…
I hope 343 will eventually notice this thread, maybe even respond to it and say what their plans are concerning the Elites.

Rest assured, there is no way they haven’t.
Honestly though, I don’t see them returning as playable characters.

You shut your -Yoink!- mouth!
Seriously though, elaborate. Why would you not see Sangheili returning? They have been playable in every Halo game, except Halo:CE, Halo:ODST, and Halo 4. They are a part of Halo. They’ve attracted a huge fan base of die-hard Sangheili fans. There would only be a negative effect if Sangheili didn’t return. And 343i hasn’t said anything on the subject, other than moving this thread to the “Halo Xbox One” forum, which I would say is a plus.
I was just thinking, and maybe it’s a good thing 343i hasn’t responded to this thread. Look at the Halo 4 Custom Games, Forge and other threads about missing features. 343i commented on those and nothing happened for them, but they haven’t commented here.

This thread is calling for playable Sangheili in the next Halo game, not Halo 4. Also, there is not really much they can say on this thread. It’s a yes or no answer, there’s no going around it.
Though, that being said, Custom Games, Forge, and Theater are also very important to the Halo community. It is imperative that 343i improve upon them, as well as balancing out Halo MP to a stable, long-lasting, and fun experience that attracts more players as well as keeping a majority of the community satisfied and happy.

Not to mention I’ve been hearing demands for elites even outside these forums.
Besides if your playing the same species every time it’s nothing new.
Thats why I haven’t played any of the other first person shooting games.
Thats not saying there bad they are not my cup of tea.
