Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

Glad you liked parts of the concept art. Just trying to keep this post alive, so everyone on Halo waypoint and in the Halo community in general gets a chance to see it. It would be nice to get Elites back

Since Arbiter is a special Sangheili given his title,I hope that there is something that differentiates him from other Sangheili besides armour.I’d like his shields to dissipate in a brilliant flash of this blue plasma. It’d be nice to play as him in campaign and tower over others.
Talking to you John 117.

Yes, it would be interesting to see Arbiter’s POV of other Sangheili since he is tall for himself in his own species and compared to regular people, Spartan II’s, and Spartan IV’s alike.

You guys think the Arbiter’s going to be in Halo 5?

With this news on him being alive post-Halo 4 Spartan Ops, being escorted by Infinity, and having peace talks with Brutes, it still seems like he’s important to the story.

The noble Sangheili race should be allowed more customization options.Things like wrist and utilities.Under the wrist category I’d like attachments like holographic projection displays.Like a Tacpad but with more advanced electronics that displays multi-colored projections, resembling the control interfaces on the Ardent Prayer seen in the campaign, particularly the ones in the bridge of the Corvette, those which the Spec Ops Sangheili interact with by touch. To get a clear image of what I’m saying, revisiting the campaign would be highly advisable.Adding movement to the holographic projection would be a nice touch.

Notice the Sangheili interacting with the surface in the upper right corner of the image, now that’s what I’m talking about.

Here’s the name and description I came out with:
-Type 12 Interactive Holographic Display
-Introduced in the recent Human-Covenant War,supplemental monitoring unit for vitals and live battle updates

As for utilities I’m drawing a blank, anyone got anything.

Yes, I do think Arbiter can be potentially in Halo 5, since he can add more to the story and he is a important character I think hes going to either make a full appearance or cameo at the very least.

Either way they better do him justice! What ever the next Halo is it is going to have to be good for me to buy it and would be the only reason I would even consider buying the Xbox One! So in conclusion the Arbiter is one of the many things they better do right!

I have an idea: what if 343I will make possible to play even as female elites?
This could be possible, in fact all elites are trained to fight from childhood, and the decision to continue the training is a decision of the female elites.

That sounds like a good idea. Wouldn’t be the first time there were female elites.

After all, did you know that if you go onto Halo 3 multiplayer and select female gender, and then choose to be an elite, your elite will give off a much more feminine voice. Female Elite.

U could play as female elites in halo 3

But remember in halo 3 the male/female models were the same

Just the voice changes

I miss those guys, but we got to keep posting to get this noticed, so how about 1000 comments, anyone. But seeing how this has been happening since Halo 4 released I wouldn’t be surprised if we get Elites next time. Who knows, this just might be like the first trilogy- 1st- We would like to play as Elites and do all these things that should be in the game-2nd- Yay we got all of these, but we lost some features, guns, and vehicles-3rd- Everything in one game Hallejuah, too bad it is ending. Next trilogy- what if we get to do this!!!- When the game releases they all complain about how some things were removed. The lifecycle repeats, long live Halo and may she live to be the best Franchise in Current History.

I hope the opening cutscene of Halo 5 introduces Arbiter and his comrades on Sanghelios, the Halo trilogy never painted a clear picture of Sanghelios in their games. It’d be great if the Arbiter heard of the Master Chief and converses with his comrades, than the cutscene cuts and pans to a docked CSO Supercarrier with other Corvettes and similar vessels. Then it transits to the CSO Supercarrier’s lead ship and as the Arbiter looks out into deep space his subordinates alert him to prepare for slip space. The camera then captures a common area that looks like the map Zealot and the PA system alerts the crew for a slip space jump.Sangheilis then head to doors and into secure areas.Than they breach the Sanghelios stratosphere and prepare for slip space. And jump…

Oh yeah speaking of it,the Arbiter and his comrades must speak English.I’d like them to retain those deep voices.I hope the voice actors keep their memorable, rustic voices that we so warmly associate with as the Arbiter from Halo 3.

I would like to see Sangheili be able to choose the color of their shields. For a utility we could have something like a “Sangheili plasma battery” for weapon recharge capabilities in the battlefield. It could look like a thick curved around the leg plate glowing blue, then you could choose the same utility for the other leg if you want.
Perhaps we could now see the implementation of forerunner armor on Elites. The armor would place itself on the player after spawning like the Didact’s armor does when he leaves his containment ball. If a player would be killed while the armor is still placing itself then the loose pieces would simply fall.

I always played as a spartan, however I loved having elites in the game with me as teammates and opponents. I understand that Elites wouldn’t have fit into the whole “infinity virtual reality spartan training program”, however I didn’t like that idea of giving multiplayer a story that is so connected to the halo universe. I would much prefer to have elites

This has been brought up again and again. The canon multiplayer could still have elites because somehow flood and mini-spartans are possible and there are far more reasons for elites to be in multiplayer canon wise so this is no excuse!

343i shouldn’t waste time on adding Sangheili in Halo 4 as a DLC at this stage. Its too late, they should use the time given to them wisely to work on the Sangheili player models’ debut in Halo 5,dubbed Halo Xbox One by 343.We can only cross our fingers and hope that they restore glory and honour to the Sangheili by giving them a proper military doctrine and fixing that hideous armour in Halo 4.Addition of ranks instead of subtraction to increase the armour variety.

Great idea woltey X,I think incorporating Forerunner aspects and design in Sangheili should totally come out in Halo 5.Since the Sangheili have rallied with the Prometheans and the Didact,I don’t see why they would not share their technologies to improve Sangheili combat harnesses and combat effectiveness.Perhaps there could be boss battles in campaign and firefight where after every major wave or a certain key installation in the case of the campaign there would be Sangheili of very high ranks and stature that used Forerunner technology and could for example levitate and suspend himself in the air,and use telekinetic powers to move objects around and hit the player with. The Didact demonstrated similar powers when he held Chief in the air without even touching him.Higher ranks per say could use hard light daggers instead of plasma, and this would be possible as well in multiplayer if we choose one of a few specific ranks of Sangheili possessing them.
Concerning the Arbiter, there is a possibility that the civil war on Sanghelios could still be raging. It would not be out of the question for the Didact or Prometheans to travel to Sanghelios to rally troops as Sangheili and Covenant religions clash, which would lead to political instability and render them vulnerable to verbal brainwashing by the Didact whom is of a higher power.I do hope we catch a glimpse of the state of Sanghelios in Halo 5.Or possibly even fight there in campaign. The Sangheili loyal to their ancient ways would be siding with the Arbiter, and would bolster their force from a rag tag team from Halo 3 to a proper military in Halo 5.I’m not sure if the San Shyuum will come into the picture, and its possible that if they do,there may be a power struggle between them and the Didact.Or maybe ally with them and be instated as 2nd in command under the Didact, changing the hierarchy of the Covenant. The way I see it,its possible that the Sangheili will split into 3 factions. One faction loyal to their ancient ways and rallying with the Arbiter, the other with the Didact we know as the Covenant remnant with some San Shyuum, and the last of which is the original Covenant, whom are led by San Shyuum that do not rally with the Didact and instead defy him,as they worship the Forerunners as gods, and the fact that the Didact has actually been betrayed by his brethren hence locked in the Cryptum and resenting them, making him the odd one out,the heretic among the Forerunners.

> No. Hitboxes are always messed up and Dinosaurs are always the one betraying people, committing suicide, and are just annoying. I want them to stay out of the games.

Wowwwww sounds like someone needs to change this guy’s diaper.

If Elites are the only ones doing that -Yoink!-, and they’re not in the games currently, are you saying no one else right now team kills, or commits suicide?

Do you even play online…?

So I’m sure more than I find you ‘Just annoying’ does that mean you’ll leave the game too? C:

halo 4 sold a good amount of games and they didn’t have elites

I believe Halo 5 would do just fine with out them / although I’m 100% fine with them in campaign/ ops

match Making should all be the same.

But how many of those people sold back their own copies due to it not meeting it’s expectations, let alone thousands of elite players refuse to play Halo 4 for the fact that its just the same exact boring Spartans running around killing each other. Not quiet realizing that the halo 2 and 3 were much more played in numbers due to variety that those games had.
