Oh,here’s the link WRGGuntDevi12:Sangheili Commander | Halo Alpha | Fandom
See the first image on the page of the Sangheili Commander, the area between the 2 eyes, the forehead, looks bulgy and disgusting.Halo Reach did not have that I think,or were not that obvious at least. There’s to much skin showing,I want back fully armoured Sangheili. In Reach, there’s almost no skin showing.Even the gaps between the neck and shoulder pauldron and the parts uncovered by the armour were filled with skin tight black suits.
I’d also like more colors. In Halo Reach it was impossible to match the Sangheili Field Officer’s colors as it was more metallic and darker,a sunset orange and was noticeably different from the color rust.I want it to be possible to fully mimic the colors of the Sangheili in campaign. We need more metallic darker colours now.I want the primary and secondary colors to be better distributed throughout the amour. So a thick outline of color around the perimeter would be the secondary one and the inner parts, the centre of mass would be colored the primary colour.

For their armor showing skin it just could be that they follow a different way they wear their armor, this also goes for color as well, then the actual Covenant because theirs a massive difference between Minor (Reach)
Minor ( H4
As for the color problem I couldn’t agree more even though the armor itself tells you what rank they are, having color like in Reach makes them more obvious what rank they are.
Far as I’m concerned, Halo CE introduced the Elites, Halo 2 graphically updated them beautifully, then Halo 3 butchered them and made them look thick, stocky, and hunchbacked. Halo Reach, despite making them too big, did go back to a design style similar to a graphically updated version of the Halo 2 elite, with a meaner looking face being the only real difference. And Finally Halo 4 came around and butchered them worse than 3 did.
In my opinion about the appearance of Elites:
Halo 1, 2, and Reach GOOD
Halo 3, and 4 BAD.

I think Halo 4 was the worst and was just thinking this would be perfect to share with you guys, hopefully this isn’t what Halo 5’s elites will look like.

I personally think Halo Wars has the best design for the Elites, then Reach has the best armour (excluding Zealot, Halo 4’s Zealot is my favourite)

Are you talking armor wise or something? Because if you ask me, those guys on Halo Wars looked like a mix if you had an Elite and a Brute together. Their Anatomy did not make any kind of sense compared to what the other games [other than 4] had them be. They were way too buffish looking at the chest, and their waist were too small to the rest of their body, almost like you see on some kids cartoon show.

I think Halo Wars had the best faces.
I think CE had the best designs. And gameplay.

This, only, however, the torso is too thin to support the upper body. Thicken the lower half of the body and I’m sold
Something no one has talked about is the teeth.I hoped they’re arranged more orderly in Halo 5.With Reach they were sorta weird with completely uniform sizes.I want the teeth to have varying sizes for added realism, with some teeth being longer and shorter, yet I want half of the number of teeth to have the same size.I’d also like smooth not rough skin if there will be exposed flesh for Sangheili. To be honest,Sangheili and Spartan armour are in essence simlar. They had skin tight suits made of fibres with pieces of armour integrated onto the suit, covering the head, chest, shoulders and legs, and I want that back. The skin tight suits for the Sangheili and Spartans in Reach looked smooth but in Halo 4 they had much more uneven and bumpy textures. It sucks. With the Xbox One having much more computing power and being capable of handling serious graphics, the bar has been set.In addition with community feedback, there is absolutely no excuse for 343i screwing up on the aesthetic appeal of the Sangheili.
Oh yes,I did say colors should be more metallic, however I’d also like more saturated colors in addition.
Oh yes Darth Dachilla, whats with the change of emblem. What happened to those crossed swords.

What do you mean? I still have the black crossed energy swords.

For colors they could just easily put in “just choose a basic color and use the slider to change how dark it is or how bright it is”. Then you could add a metallic or saturated look to it after.
Just asking, does anybody know how to do the energy dagger glitch in Reach.Always wanted to do that.Oh,Darth Dachilla, sorry about that,at the time of that post your emblem appeared as dog tags.
I was also thinking of new death animations for Sangheili.I’d like one when the Sangheili was killed and would look up,roar, and drop to his knees. When killed with an energy sword,it could retract the dual blades and die. That’d be more realistic. When stabbed with a sword he would be pushed back, kneel, holding his abdomen and die.For the Sangheili armour permutations featuring lighting such as the Zealot, when dead, the lighting would slowly flicker and short out,and it’d be coloured grey but still with the apparent outline of the design and pattern. When hit with more powerful weapons like the sniper rifle, the Sangheili would stagger, and fall back with an arm extended,as if reaching out. These more dramatic death animations would not be applicable to kills such as a headshot with a sniper rifle, however being shot centre mass with the sniper rifle causing death will result in these death animations. Its more appropriate.Anti-armour weapons such as the Fuel Rod Gun will result in the bodies just flying as normal.
I do hope that armour abilities in Halo 5 will look different for Sangheili and Spartans like they did in Halo Reach,I’d be so disappointed if they weren’t.I think 343i gleaned Sangheili AA shapes from Reach to apply to active camouflage’s appearance in Halo 4.I didn’t like the texture though, looks too glossy.I want back AA shapes for Sangheili to be the same as Reach, metallically textured with that consistent curve, albeit graphically updated.Thinking about it,the active camouflage in Halo 4 looks like a butterfly a bit, what uncanny resemblance although the Covenant’s design in military hardware did resemble insectoid forms.
I believe the amount of thanks speak for themselves.
I don’t know if you’re being rude or nice, but I was just trying to keep this post from being buried in the pages of this forum.
EDIT: Their is no reason for you to be a Jerk when i’m trying to keep this post alive unlike you who is just mindlessly being obnoxious.
Nice concept art, however I do wish they would alter the back armour,I’m not crazy for the layered pads on his back. However I can really associate myself with those leggings, reminds me of the Sangheili Generals from Reach. The chest plate needs more work on though, looks too simplistic.I can see there’re going for a General look overall, but his armour needs to be more bulky to show rank and status.
Not sure if anyone wants the Arbiter to maintain the same look as it did in Halo 3 with just a retexture, but I think Arbiter needs some aesthetic changes to keep up with the times.
Oh yeah, thanks for the image, using it as my desktop wallpaper.
