Total agreement. Plus even though Elites had regeneration I believe Spartans had more health, didn’t matter either way if you got headshot. The faster speed and “jump higher” weren’t really that noticeable in multiplayer.
They could always make it like this if they want canon , Halsey helps the elites too hook themself up into infinitys servers and take them of in the matchmaking world
would be kinda epic with an axis animation opening to this

I don’t think I’ve heard that idea before good job.

Like it. Maybe it would kind of like a background story going on in matchmaking, and not like a fixed story but one that’s moving forward with time. We could maybe affect the story by wins/losses is certain playlists.
I have returned to say this.
it will be great to see Elites in Multiplayer. besides it would be boring playing
Spartan vs Spartan gametypes everytime.
infact playing only as Spartans is what added to Halo 4’s disappointment in my opinion.
I think it’s a bit insulting for 343i to see that such a large chunk of the community wants Elites back. And then instead of adding the model into Multiplayer, they go and make 4 new spartan armours, 6 new armour skins, and 6 new weapons skins (but only for UNSC weapons), as the next DLC pack.
Where is the Elite player model in all this? Clearly you can do it, if you couldn’t, you wouldn’t have been able to make completely new sets of armour as DLC.

Spartan VS Spartan all the time does get boring. Halo is fun but without Elites it just doesn’t feel the same. I wonder what game will replace Halo for Elite players if such a game does come out. Halo would still give a unique experience but it won’t be the same as it once was. If Elites were added I would enjoy Halo so much more than I do today.

The Elites need to be balanced and they might not be at that point. That is if they have chosen to even add Elites, and which with no reply seems to be that we are denied. Maybe they’ll be back in Halo 5, or they might never be back at all. Halo is getting better. Maybe all 343 needs is time. It seems they are actually trying with the new patches and stuff.

Throughout the announcement I was cringing. Tell me this, how are steampunk-based weapon skins part of multiplayer canon? How is an armour based upon American football armour/padding? It seems as if 343i have given up on it, and still have not heard our pleas.
It is insulting. All I want to hear is whether adding Sangheili models in DLC is possible – any answer would do for me. But so far, we’ve heard nothing. Excuse me if I sound impatient and ungrateful, but I’ve waited 8 months in this thread for a reply from anyone, and I still haven’t heard one, about anything. Nothing over whether they are possible in DLC, why multiplayer canon means Sangheili cannot be included, nor whether we will ever see our Sangheili again. And I know many others have waited a hell of a lot longer than me. I am insulted.
“Listening to the community” does not mean exclusively listening to the parts you like. It’s just not right.

The Steel Skin Pack includes skins for not only the UNSC weapons, but also the Forerunner and Covenant weapons.
The bonus content slide during the panel did say “and more.” There is still hope for more Covenant weapon skins.
The fact that we still haven`t gotten a direct no on Elites being added to Halo 4 gives me hope.
But I can wait for Elites. Ill accept that they werent part of Halo 4 but they have no excuse for the next game.
We`ve also seen again that 343 have no intentions of letting cannon get in the way with the Champion bundle.
If Season 2 of S ops were to make a miricle happen and be released perhaps that`s how they plan to introduce the Elites if they intend on having a canonical reason for it.
There`s also the last Kilo 5 book too. That will show the likelyhood of Elites working with the UNSC.
Creating a canonical reason to bring them in wont be hard but then 343 could always just throw them in because we want them, no explanation needed.
P.S Fos. I suppose you were right about 343 being able to add new content.

If they haven’t seen this thread yet then we need to reveal it to them. Perhaps they’re just focusing on problems within specific threads and continuing to enter others when they’re done with the one they finished with. Maybe instead of waiting for them to come towards use we must advance to them for a response to our cause.
> The fact that we still haven`t gotten a direct no on Elites being added to Halo 4 gives me hope.
Actually yeah, we got a direct no a long time ago. We just don’t know why, unforunately.
A user called Bumper Jumpzz (or something along those lines) tweeted a 343i member team asking them if elites would be playable (long before the games release) and the reply was “No, Elites will not be playable at all in Halo 4.”
So no, we won’t be seeing Elites added to Halo 4.
Halo Xbox One is the next step, let’s hope we’re not overlooked this time.

I felt the same way especially after Halo Reach where you were taller and felt physically superior to Spartans. And I would be fine with like BTB where its Sangheili Vs Sangheili and the same with Team slayer just a thought. Food for ideas.
> Did anyone else notice the this entire thread was mysteriously moved to the xbox one forum? I feel that there is a hint here hmmmm?
Makes sense. It seems they might actually be considering adding Elites back.
BTW the trailer for Halo “5” as its called for now. Saw people post how Arbiter taking Chief’s place in the trailer would have made it more epic. I personally think it should have had both of them. Maybe another Elite though it might not bring the same feel. Either way it would be interesting to see cracks and dents in the Elites armor suggesting that he has gone through a lot with chief. This could crank the door to a Human-Elite friendship to be much larger. Think about it chief looks down at Cortana’s chip and Arbiter puts a hand on his shoulder, they look at each other and nod then prepare for the encounter with the construct that rises out of the ground.
I think the elites should be playable, so long as 343i decided to make them look like elites again. I have an elite character and I want to play as him so badly aboard the multiplayer, however, I can tell you one thing, he does NOT look like one of those beasts in Halo 4 that are so-called elites.
Another good idea (as long as they clean up the elite’s design) would be to add a female elite body type (so long as they don’t butcher that either). I’d like that so then my elite character’s wife could be playable as well. Anyway, as long as the elite’s get a new design and THEN are playable, I’ll be happy.

If I had seen a trailer like this I might have a Xbox One pre-order right now instead of the ps4!
I feel disgusted that 343i still stubbornly insists on not adding Sangheili and still adds new weapon skins and armours. However, bringing the Mark V helmet back to Halo 4 is a good move, blast from the past, with a modern rendition. This is a sign,I think we’ll get back our good old Sangheili armour from Reach and 3.Oh yeah, did anyone notice in the Champions Bundle trailer at 00:00:46,the spartan in the background was holding a DMR like weapon but its not.Look closely and you will see the weapon stock looks nothing like that of the DMR.Its extended and keeps the operator’s shoulder away from the main body of the weapon.Probably a new gun?Very likely.I think we may see a new or revived Covenant weapon.
