I just realized that it looks like the Elites grew another joint on their legs in Halo Reach. Weird.

You sure? They pretty much look the same most of the time.

> Thel’s faction right now seems to be going in the direction of understanding and advancing their own tech like Humanity. Though I’m talking about a separate faction were they already have this mindset and have had a length of time to work on their technology, and that was formed before the defeat of the covenant by the hands of Humanity.
> As for the shield worlds they are under the control of the sentinels most likely, even the current factions in Halo can’t achieve full control since they don’t have the technical knowledge to take over shield worlds completely, at least the factions we know of. Maybe some of the shield worlds are like giant ships and can move around.
I know. I was simply pointing out that similarity between the highlighted section and Thel’s faction. It was my hope that the entirety of the Sangheili would move in the direction that you propose, until our ol’ Karen beautifully destroyed it.
I doubt it. Such important repositories of Forerunner technology would not be left to their own devices. Surely some sort of protection would be left by either the Covenant Loyalists (the Jiralhanae, not the remnant) or the Sangheili. The fact that the Covenant owes its growth to these Spheres shows that they were under San’Shyuum control for a very long time (centuries, if not millennia), and I doubt the San’Shyuum will have left anything that could threaten them. Unless there are Sentinel production facilities (not unlikely), they would probably be as they were under San’Shyuum rule. The lack of information is quite weird. We don’t actually know whether the Sangheili could control a Conservation Sphere or not.
Whether or not the Spheres are under Sangheili or Jiralhanae control is quite interesting, and might be a future plot-line. It’s odd we haven’t heard anything of it. Just thought I’d bring that up, it might be a way in which the Sangheili could reassert themselves.
> I just realized that it looks like the Elites grew another joint on their legs in Halo Reach. Weird.
Their legs are still digitrade. Though they are a different shape than previous games, having a longer lower leg. But that’s the only change I can remember.
Considering that elites move very fast due to the design in there legs. yes.

I think 343 doesn’t like Karen either and might consider all her stories to not be canon. If so then it might work. Then we can might end up closer to the familiar feel of the Elites.
Today my Reach Limited Edition arrived, I’ve been playing as the Elite Officer ^^
Hey guys I just noticed something interesting, the Didact has Sangheili toes http://www.halotoynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Halo-4-Deluxe-Didact-Figure-Prototype-McFarlane-Toy-Fair-2013-e1360598055915.jpg
If there is a common gene pool it would make the Didact kind of stupid for calling elites primitive beasts, but this is probably just a conquincindence considering that elites can’t use forerunner tech.

I tend to see a bit of a resemblance between Brutes and Humans. Maybe its just the face hair.
> I think 343 doesn’t like Karen either and might consider all her stories to not be canon. If so then it might work. Then we can might end up closer to the familiar feel of the Elites.
Not likely, unfortunately. 343i are unlikely to remove their own story from canon, especially that which links and explains (or, at the very least, tries to explain) many of the plot-points of other media. I wish that were true, though.

Elite Officer is great. By far my favourite Reach armour. Make sure you read Halsey’s journal thoroughly!

It’s likely just a coincidence. The way the Remnant and the Ur-Didact are demonised in Halo 4 it is likely a design choice; to make them seem more scary, monster-like.
In the preview of the Halo 4: The Essential Visual Guide from here, we learn the the design choice for the “toe spikes” are common decoration for Hesduros Kaidons (confirming that the Remnant Sangheili are mainly from Hesduros!).

I’ll have to take your word for it because I can’t read the words no matter what I do. I hope that Jul’s men are just from a limited number of planets because then there is still hope that the Sangheili will be restored to their rightful look, but then again Jul is from Sangheilios but I would forgive the canon violation if 343 actually committed it to do something for us instead of just making a mistake.

and they will, just give it time.
okay so is their anything we need to add for Elites in Halo 5, how about a new vehicle, one the Sanghili developed.

Well here is a rather poorly gimped pic of my idea for the wight. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/166027_559621860754995_2136306035_n.jpg
Customizable energy daggers anyone?
> Customizable energy daggers anyone?
Different shapes not only to the daggers but to the swords as well might work, definite yes on changing its colors though.

Fear mah green energy dagger >:D

I just got a mental image of an Ezio Elite lol.
Thought the traditional blue-white energy daggers were rather appealing.
Oh yeah, new energy dagger assassinations.Utilise Sangheili hand to hand combat with daggers during assassinations for truly satisfactory assassinations.
BTW,revertion to original Sangheili armours from Reach with slight changes.New Sangheili armours should at least be slightly reminiscent of Reach’s.Anyone in favour?Reach’s Sangheili armours were much more ornamental and elegant than Halo 4’s with the lighting in the armours for Zealot,General & Field Marshall.
