No the warriors are tall, presumably about 10 ft tall, they’d be bigger than the SPARTANs and I assume it would be the warriors fighting, but let’s get back on topic for now

actually there’s quite a few forerunners left

There aren’t only 2 Forerunners left. There has never been any confirmation on their population. Though that wouldn’t be a problem, as if Forerunners were to be included in multiplayer, canon would have to be thrown out of the window. Though I can’t really see any of it (343i will never back away from multi-player canon, as I have stated before), playing as a Forerunner would allow for easier animations, etc., than a Knight, considering their unique shape. Unless they were given a new model for multi-player use… Too much speculation for me, I’m afraid. 343i won’t back away from multi-player canon, so playing as a Forerunner or as a Knight has slimmer chances of inclusion than the Sangheili, I’m afraid.

And congratulations, Reptile, on the 7000th post on this thread.

Actually, if you notice, they are floating about a meter in the air, giving them a 10 ft tall appearance. So without their hover tech, they would be a Spartans size.

OT: back on to the needle weapons, who else misses the nr from reach?

Heh, not really. Was hardly that useful anyways. I’m just glad I rather stick with the Carbine.

Reptile Thanks you, anyway I think we should still allowed Elties into multiplayer canon or not, just to keep the intrest factor going.

Well when you think about they kinda already scrapped the mp canon with the ‘no elites but we will have flood’ fiasco.

Another thing I was thinking about was the various armour types we see among spartans/brutes/sangheili and I thought it would be interesting if they had something like ‘tech trees’ (or something incorporated to the specializations) where you pick doctrine (or something) like say the Storm doctrine, and you get the storm armour variations to unlock aswell as doctrine specific perks and loadout combinations. It would be a bit more interesting then the current system in Halo 4.

And the good thing about it is that each doctrine will still have a bit of everything, though some will focus more on one aspect then the others, obviously.

Sounds like a nice idea. Maybe there can be different variants the same type of thing (Storm version of an armor ability or weapon) in a doctrine, and maybe you could level up in different doctrines to have those different variants.

perhaps but the reason why the Spartans and Elite sseem more do able is the population numbers,

unless there was a forunner planet that was untouched by the rings.

Or if they repopulated a planet like Charum Hakkor or even Path Kethona after the rings fired

Speaking of the Elites, which is your favorite armour for them in Halo 4? I love the Zealots design it looks really nice and deviates from what the Zealots looked like in previous games

Zealot cause it looks like a spec ops.

I don’t know, they looked more like Spec-Ops from Reach. At least those guys looked awesome and are my favorites.

Personally enjoy zealot too.

i get the felling that 343 will back away from the cannon multiplayer and focus more on what people want (elites) and fix alot of the problems from halo 4 but time will tell as they say.

I could easily connect the multiplayer and canon - The Elites have attacked multiple locations which belong to the UNSC, Spartan vs Spartan situations are the SPARTANs training for the upcoming battle at the locations (multiplayer maps)

yeah there are alot of ways that elites to be in cannon, one of the best reasons was the arbiters elites helped the UNSC train for upcoming battles.

Maybe there could be Elites who left Sanghelios and colonized another planet because they did not view all of the Elite ways as correct, such as the past reliance on prophets for all the technology. These Elites could be much more advanced then the covenant tech we have seen if they chose to study and learn off the forerunner tech and attempt to reach the same level and go beyond. These Elites might have found a shield world or other previously forerunner touched planet and have studied it. Then they could have found information on the mantle if they could read forerunner glyphs which could also explain the responsibility of the mantle to protect the galaxy. The Elites afterwards could view this as an honourable task and begin to establish a new covenant to protect all life in the galaxy which they would invite Humanity to join. Oni could agree seeing as these Elites could teach them about even more advanced technology and how to build it.

So canon could go something like this. It is quite possible since not all Elites think the exact same way. Some might have been the intellectuals in society who where shunned by their acceptation of things like medicine to heal wounds. Those Elites could have had secret meetings and have a final decision to leave and colonize another world so they would no longer be annoyed by others who would shun them.

You mean Thel’s faction? ;D

The thing that always confuses me, is that the Covenant owes much of their technological advances to the finding of Conservation Spheres such as Shield 0459 (i.e. the Shield World in Halo Wars). This could add to your scenario. I wonder what happened to these Shield Worlds. Who controls them now?

Some might have been the intellectuals in society who where shunned by their acceptation of things like medicine to heal wounds. Those Elites could have had secret meetings and have a final decision to leave and colonize another world so they would no longer be annoyed by others who would shun them.

Thel’s faction right now seems to be going in the direction of understanding and advancing their own tech like Humanity. Though I’m talking about a separate faction were they already have this mindset and have had a length of time to work on their technology, and that was formed before the defeat of the covenant by the hands of Humanity.
As for the shield worlds they are under the control of the sentinels most likely, even the current factions in Halo can’t achieve full control since they don’t have the technical knowledge to take over shield worlds completely, at least the factions we know of. Maybe some of the shield worlds are like giant ships and can move around.
