Both Jul and Thel represent the future of the Sangheili. It would be interesting to see a duel between the best and brightest of the Sangheli over what direction their race should take.
That being said, Reach Elite’s were my favorite designs, they looked fierce yet intelligent. Not like mindless animals fit to be used as canon fodder for the Didact.

well instead of 1 model how about 2 types.
Elite model 1: well have the look of the thel’s elites plus the model for the
player models.
Elite Model 2: Jul’s elites looking menacing.
I still can’t justify how to distinguish between Thel’s and Jul’s elites if it were to happen. Both are somewhat likely to wear the same armor. I’ve suggested Thel’s troops should have more tint on their armor for players to easily detect friend and foe.
Hey guys Treyarch adding me recently reminded me, does anyone want to still make a Sangheili clan? If so who will start/lead it? I’ll tell you now I can’t do this as I don’t know how clans work as I’ve never been in one, plus I’m to much of a lone wolf, and I am probably not on enough to lead. However, if I ever join a clan I would like it to be one from here. Perhaps we can message the creator of the thread and ask if he wants to lead it. If we do create a clan it should surpass just the games. For example, we should list all the books with Sangheili from our least favorite to the most and other stuff like action figures etc… I’m also trying to think of good names for the clan. I think the name should reflect that if we do start a clan it would be born from players who are most concerned with the welfare of the Sangheili. Perhaps “Sangheili Knights”, or the “Order of Arbiters”, or something entirely different what do you guys think?

I think they should leave Jul’s men the same and Thel’s the same, I think the different armor and look will be enough to tell the difference.

So is Rtas related to him the last name is a letter off.

I don’t think so. Perhaps Rtas’s keep is close to Vadam hence the similarities in the names.

Perhaps have Jul’s using the Storm Rifle and Thel’s using the Plasma Rifle? A small difference, but a logical one.

If Thel 'Vadam comes back to fight by cheifs side, I’d want him to look like a beast reach Sangheili, not the Pu$$ies of Halo 4 that dare call themselves Sangheili. I think we all want justice for what 343 did to the Sangheili in Halo 4, In halo 5 hopefully we can bring the Sangheili back to their former glory.

I love Jul, only likeable character in kilo-five, devious, smart, did more than the Didact (shame), he’s a great character overall, but yes a fight between Thel and Him would be as interesting as the Ur-Didact vs IsoDidact

you will need more than just tint, you need to make the armor look more efficient. and upt to date compared to the storm Elites.

Basically, Jul’s Elites need to look like bandits or a militia and Thel’s need to look like honorable soldiers in nice armor.
Maybe the Human rebellions might rise up again, even if Jul hates humans so much he might make an alliance with them. Jul would probably try to use the rebellions up so he could get rid of them more easily after he was done with the UNSC. The alliance between this Human rebellion and the Storm might draw the UNSC and Thel’s Elites into an alliance. This would let people actually fight AI Humans, and maybe AI Spartans if the Human rebellion discovered Spartan technology.

plus, if you used the reach Sangheili model(with updated graphics), the difference would be very easy to see. Thels Sangheili would look stronger and better armed/armored, where as Juls would be like the halo 4 Sangheili, weaker and more like a insufficiently armed force.

You would have to make the Loyalists to Sangheilios look like professional soldiers compared to that of the Storm.
Best way to put it is standing our troops of the regular army next to that of a militia man who just so happens to be hauling around the same weapon, however looks different, acts different, and reacts differently to a trained soldier.
The same would apply to the Loyalists.
For example Special Operations Commander Rano has a cloaking field, sword, and beam rifle.
Special Operations Commander of the Storm Ntal has something of a “ghilli” suit, a microwave gun (that one from Reach), and a plasma pistol.
of course throw in the Forerunner factor and militia man Ntal gets a binary rifle, cloak, and a bolt shot.
His armor would look different and more jagged for sure sticking out of the terrain while Rano has his sleeker armor from the loyalists factions and is a dead shot.
So to factor it all in.
Weapons would be different
Training in general unless some of the Sangheili of the Storm were former Covenant loyal to the prophets.
Looks, Jul’s followers would have more sharper armor, jagged while Thel’s look more classic and smooth showing off a Professional soldier look.
Abilites, I may not have covered that but will later.
Just came here to make sure this thread was still alive and well. Glad to see it is still kicking its way to the top of general discussion.
As for the debate on here of storm vs. regular, you would have to make their armor types different as many have said. The storm wouldn’t look as well outfitted. Their mannerisms would be pretty much the same though, considering all elites are raised to be professional soldiers
