Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

> > If 343 honestly doesn’t have time for the Elite community then maybe a spinoff could work for them. If that doesn’t work then maybe the Elite community will have to gather together and learn how to make a video game after getting rights from Microsoft. I doubt Microsoft is going to mind having a bit more money. As far as I know 343 industries is owned by Microsoft, and I believe Microsoft is the owner to the rights of Halo.

> I would love to texture for any Halo! Unfortunately that is never going to happen=(
> I also don’t want to have to go to a whole new game to play as Sangheili. In the same way that some Spartans miss fighting us I would miss fighting them.

Who said Spartans would be missing :D, and “never going to happen”, that’s being a little negative. There’s a possibility of it happening, but it seems unlikely.

> Two more pages to go until we hit 343! However, we cannot let it stop there! It is unfortunate that we have had to go for this long=( This thread should only end if we hear the Sangheili will return to their former glory in the next Halo! If we hear otherwise then I foresee this thread exploding.

Well this thread doesn’t need to stop, the community can go after what they don’t like about the Elites, if their added. By “what they don’t like about Elites” I mean armor variations, etc.

How bout not letting this thread stop no matter how much haters are wanting us to stop? Heck, I say keep it alive through the months and even years and have it be kicking strong. We need this message to be spread out for all elites.

Wait we have haters? Well I guess the little kiddies are a majority…

Yup. That’s pretty unfortunate.

However, the idea suggested before might work. Put ranked and social (or competitive and social) back in.

Allow elites to play in Social playlists as elites, but for balance reasons, competitive gametypes will not allow players to play as elites.

I realise this means elite players won’t be able to play in competitive playlists as elites, but this compromise should work for just about everyone. Elite players are not limited to one playlist, competitive players don’t have to deal with elites and balance problems in competitive playlists.

There will be other benefits to this in terms of Competitive and Social split, but it looks like it would be the best way to go to make everyone happy.

@Elite players. We need to remember that we can’t get everything. A healthy compromise would be best for all. No point in making someone else unhappy just so we can play as elites.

Please see my my earlier posts to learn my opinion on this matter, and please no internet fights this time!

I have to Agree I’m willing to play as Elites in social or a playlist with only Elites as a compromise.

but for the sake of Spartans who have Elite friends or Elites with Spartan Friends. Mix them up in custom games.

I miss Elites a lot. Not because I myself ever played as one, but because it was cool to be able to shoot at them.

The whole Infinity simulation story thing was kind of lame. It doesnt really matter if you have a backstory for your multiplayer. That being said I think itd be nice for Elites to get their rep in matchmaking in H5.

But the problem with how current Halo games are handled is that they don’t say what exactly is competitive and what exactly is Social. It’s like they intertwined both those player types into all game types so it’s really hard to tell where do the Elite’s fit into all of it. Just saying, if Elite’s are going to be in Multiplayer, I say bring them in fully.

I agree with that.

I was to busy to say this yesterday but May the 4th be with all my fellow Sangheili who are Star Wars fans to=) While we are on the subject we should make a Destiny Mandalorian clan Titan | Destiny Wiki | Fandom also I would be able to join a clan now as I have replaced my xbox=)

The thing I like about Destiny is the fact that you have a choice on what species you want to be and what type of player you are going to be able to play as. If pulled off correctly, I say 343I should start taking some more notes on Bungie.

if that’s True I’d say 343 should give it another shot for the Elites.

No, I don’t want reach’s treatment again. I want to be fully playable, plus no one I’ve ever met got upset about playable sangheili. What are these arguments against sangheili that you’ve heard? If its just the complicated headshot thing, then just raise their heads a little. The Spartans will not have a problem with us, and we won’t be segragated, compromise.

Have you ever been paying attention to what is going on in Destiny?

Do your homework before responding to me

Huh, news to my ears. The only one species that I can relate to as being as strong (or almost equal) to the Sangheili are the Fallen IMO

One more page everyone
