If they don’t have elites in Halo 4 I will honestly loose faith in 343.

Anyways thanks for voicing this, I would be really upset if they took out the Elite models from Halo 4 multi-player. Hopefully they give us full customization this time like back in Halo 3 and make it so both Spartan IV’s and Elites are equal in all areas.

in h3 it was unequal, spartans were favored on the armor side
I do hope that, if the Elites can come back in a manner similar to Halo 3, that they have a great selection of armor customization like the Spartans in Reach.

Yea you’re right. I ended up playing as a spartan because their armor customization was better and more diverse than the elites. So lets hope they give both sides (and possibly a new one to play as) a great amount of choice in armor customization.
Support continues to flow in. I hope 343 can offer us some insight sooner or later.

We mustn’t give up the fight, not now. The bulletin is on the brink of existence. Perhaps then we will learn the information that we have campaigned so long for.
I hold out the hope that 343 won’t ignore us, or, more insultingly, replace Elites with the New Threat. That would be a slap in the face of the collective Elite community as it is blatantly suggesting that 343 believes us to be so shallow and easily won over that we will play whatever new species takes the place of the Sangheili because it is not a Spartan.
It is wonderful to see this much support and that this thread has survived for so long. Our fight is not yet finished, but we will see it through until it is.

I remember back before Halo 3 came out I fantasized about Brutes, Marines, ODSTs, and even Grunts being playable characters in H3. I even had a very detialed dream about it! Crazy and ridiculous right? 
But seriously, I truly hope Elites are playable in H4. And I hope 343i addresses the Elite community.

Yeah, ive always wanted to play as a grunt… well at least in the campaign that is lol… But i got my wish on the ODST side of things, and they even put odst armor in halo reach for me…
If the elites dont make a return in some form then i feel that 343 will be making a huge mistake.
If Elite armor customization is more fully explored in Halo 4, I better get Armor Gaurd armor!

If 343i doesn’t give us an answer, then they have either gone to the dark side and stopped listening to their community or they are saving it for something big. I don’t know about you guys but that adds even more of my feeling of horror/hopefulness.
Also, please tell other people about this thread and send them this way. We need to get fresh discussion and new voices on this thread.
