True Mark of Shame is awesome sucks that it wasn’t in Halo 4 among other things=( A cool emblem would be the Mark of Shame in the background with energy swords in the foreground.

Ah the mark of shame, a great symbol of Sanghili. I rmember looking at my Elite in Haki 3’s theater mode in and it showed an Elite’s arm with three mark of shames on the wrist armor.

Yeah it is to bad 343 decided it wasn’t important just like everything else! I still dream of owning on mp while wearing Arbiter armor, to while we are on the subject of the mark.

I herd they where trying to add the arbiter armor for DLC in Halo 3, but they couldn’t because of how it would be a problem witht he system.

I guess at the time it was impossible to add Armor via DLC.

Actually they could have added it. I think I remember the reason why they didn’t was the fact their was only Arbiter in Halo lore.

I guess sense their is only one Arbiter.

Unless the Arbiter becomes a sort of emperor over the Elite nation and receives royal guards that have similar armor to represent their affiliation with the arbiter but different enough so they are not mistaken for the arbiter.

Yeah thats possible to.

Arbiter armor could be like Recon, but more exclusive with harder Vidmasters.

That could be a way but I would rather have the Honor Guards from Halo 2 look after the Arbiter. How they could make it canonical (if they absolutely had to) would be to write a story about how there used to be an order of Arbiters that united Sangheilios but were all wiped out in a 300 style battle save one who became the leader of Sangheilios. Or they could just screw canon and let us play in Arbie armor.

Or simply use armour that looks similar to the Arbiter’s. The design of the Arbiter armour is known to be of ancient Sangheili design, never influenced by the San 'Shyuum, nor other Covenant species. As such, it could be possible that Sangheili state could begin to use traditional designs (i.e. similar to the Arbiter’s), in opposition to post San 'Shyuum-Sangheili War values/design. To try to regain the pre-Covenant Sangheili tradiitions, perhaps. Something similar to this perhaps? (I don’t want to think how many times I’ve linked that image.) :stuck_out_tongue:

Remember, “screw canon” is not a viable way forward anymore. Multiplayer canon appears to be here to stay. We need to be thinking of ways canon can be molded around such things, not how parts of multiplayer can be exempt from canon.

thats why I keep asking if anyone else, wants to have a go on what we can mold in canon to keep Elites in multiplayer.

The UNSC is training some of Arby’s Elites with their Spartans, and they ate learning to fight with and against each other.

works for me, sense a spartan vs spartan training would only be useful if a s[artan was going rogue

I think I honestly prefer that drawn artwork right there than the ones that we have seen so far in Halo 4. I mean sure, the one’s in Halo 4 are all storm designed and such but I just hope the other covies have a much better design on armor.

and hopefully some enw armor.

Maybe along with the default melee animations, Elites could do some nice kicks or use their Energy Daggers occasionally in close combat, not necessarily during assassinations.

> Maybe along with the default melee animations, Elites could do some nice kicks or use their Energy Daggers occasionally in close combat, not necessarily during assassinations.

It would give a nice new addition to melee combat. Maybe add different weapons that the Elite can use to assasinate players so you can choose an energy sword over an energy dagger.

sigh Agreed. For Halo 4, it seems to go nowhere , so yeah, its staying and there’s not much we can do about about it. Custom games is basically non-canon. It may be silly for 343 telling a story about spartans ramming one another in outer space, lol

I wonder, since 343 is considering micro transactions is whether or not they’ll make make 'em for forge pieces and elites, but this would a question best suited towards the Forge community.

thats why I say again, the only thing a spartan vs spartan fight would be good for is fighting rogue spartans.
