Maybe Jul made it out so that the Didact wanted them to use forerunner artifacts, this would have been proven when he didn’t oppose them using forerunner guns and other artifacts and let them be.

Itwon’t stop thel from going after Jul’s skin, but he might be harder to fight considering the weapons he have.
Elites could have a good impact on new members to the Halo community as well as old members.

Assuming if the players don’t feel alienated from how they handle in the combat feel and that the community isn’t gonna try to be all Anti-elites and all that.

im pretty sure some of the ne wplayers wondered how cool it would be to play as an eltie when they where playing Halo 4.

Like in Halo 2? Also, can someone photoshop Arbiter armor into a Reach/Halo 4 Elite? I’m curious to see how it looks.

it should be considering how people liked Halo 2.
I don’t care if they don’t allow us to play as elites, as it is the coding for this is probably to difficult to install. so u need to think of how this well affect other gametypes like SWAT and Team Snipers. If anybody remembers from Halo3 the elites were to difficult to kill in SWAT and Team Snipers when u shot the head the still stayed alive it was to much of a problem. Invasion could just be to much to include also, because of Spartan Ops it would create to much problems in the future so just hope the add it in to the next Halo game ok. Thank u for reading…

Thanks for posting. It might be difficult but it can be done, they have all the time they want up to Halo 5. The Elites (if they’re brought back not hunched over) will be as easy to headshot as Spartans, and with the advances in the game compared from Halo 3 it is likely able to help count every shot made to an Elites head. Since Halo 5 may run on the new Xbox system it will likely be able to handle Invasion on a new scale. I’m talking scarabs, mammoths, and maybe orbital fights over the map. If it does provide too many problems in matchmaking for some reason(s) they can just add Elites to custom games and Elite Ops and focus on the future addition of Elites.
I thought by now people would be over the whole balance issue when it comes to Elite’s. Just because the one’s from Halo 3 were oddly unbalanced doesn’t mean they can’t be balanced out for future Halo titles.
The fact that I can’t play as the species I have been playing as since 2004 is the reason I have yet to touch my Halo 4 disc in months.

Plus we just offerd one solution, give the Elites the archtype like the ones in halo 2, they claimned they where balanced, and noone complaine dmuch, (from what I herd).
Give them the same model as Halo 4 and shrink them and give them the same hitbox as a Spartan. That should balance them enough.

while I agree we should give thels Elites a friendley look, but if they where to pout them in as DLC they would have to cut time in half by adding the Halo 4 model.

Reach or Halo 2/CE’s, then? I like Halo 4 Elites, we can just give them new armor. Halo 3’s Elites were too squat.
Honestly i’m with the bandwagon of elites being larger and faster then spartans, but bigger targets in effect.
And if that means playing as the -Blam!-ugly elites in H4 with half their armor missing, i’d be willing to cope as long as it actually let me play as an elite.

At least those guys didn’t had unnecessary scales and all that. Although my Favorite are the Halo 2 elite’s because they stood up straight and they looked rather clean, believable, and simple really in design.

Would much rather not have the hunchbacks back. Though they were still enjoyable the Halo 2 Elites have a greater majesty to them.
