> Yeah, the last time we had Bows in video games, we already have plenty of them in Battlefield, Tomb Raider, and Crysis 3 so No thanks. And instead of Needles, I rather have a full on Plasma shotgun. Whats a bunch of needles going to do against vehicles? Nothing. Another thing, keep the beam rifle as is, no need to dumb it down.
Quoting the wrong person, mate, I never suggested a bow.
I’m against a Needle Sniper, as it would be redundant due to the Beam Rifle. Shotguns shouldn’t damage vehicles, or at least do a lot of damage to them. I never supported the notion of all weapons being able to destroy vehicles.
Also, my Needle Shotgun and Revolver would have the ROF of a Concussion Rifle.

By specializations do you mean the equal to specs thats Spartans have, like Wetwork? BTW I would enjoy all this armor and being able to switch out parts like the Spartans can. Getting to take off piece of armor would be cool (so you could take of your helm and have the bare Elite head). Though I would appreciate having new pieces of armor added later on, and I mean brand new, nothing that has been seen before.

yes I should’ve listed new armor to.

Heh, why not? We could use alot more uniqueness on whatever player wants to wear. No 2 players are suppose to look the same right?
Did anyone else see the 343 GDC panel? I think it explains why the elites aren’t in halo 4 mp and why they are down right limited in sp.
Basicly they said they wanted to make halo more accessible (hence it might be ‘confusing’ to have them in mp) and that they wanted to contextualize the universe (As in the sangheili are to be something along the lines of tali-ban).
After seeing their GDC panel I have made the conscious decision to not take anything in halo 4 as canon unless they can prove they can actually write a good story for halo 5.
But now that that rant is done, on the topic already going I really hope they give elites the same amount of customization as the spartans, but it terms of cosmetic choices and gameplay. For example color patterns, visor/skin color, individual armour pieces, aswell as seperate specializations and perks for elites and spartans- such as elites getting zealot while spartans get, say, wetworks.
^apparently, the same thing’s happening with Gears, and people are mad. As are we.
Customization can include battle scars (like Gek) and trophies, like how Gek had dog tags on his armor.

I’d say same around the same colour range as Spartans.
Not sure if the distinctive 2-tone of a Spartan armor or the rather nice blended colours elites had in Reach were better…

I like how they blended the colors for the sangheili in Reach, it made me fall in love with invasion mode in the beta with the purple/blue elites and the red(ish) spartans.
Nah, I think elites should have a colored tone for multplayer Elites. a tone simular to Elites in Halo 3, but in Campaigen give the Elites the usual tones.
and hey how about in campaigen players 3 and 4 can be a multiplayer spartan and multiplayer Elite.
Another thing; bring back the nobility of the Elites. There’s something missing about them, and bringing back their regal stature could solve that.

wich I think is what the fans mean by bringing thel back for the campaigen.

It’s already bad enough for the Storm Covies to be making a bad mockery of how true Elites act like to begin with anyways…
Storm Covies look like a joke compared to proper Sangheili. I hope Storm keeps their feral look but, better be when and not if, if our covie allies return MP elites better look well normal. I’d love to see some customizable elites with them being equal to the Spartans so there isnt any penalty for using them.
I miss seeing all of you covie players.
On the topic of The Storm looking pathetic, Spartan Ops. 'nuff said. They need to be more formidable.
> On the topic of The Storm looking pathetic, Spartan Ops. 'nuff said. They need to be more formidable.
I like to think of it as the “Storm Covenant” being less experienced and more fanatic than the original Elites. They’re suppose to be taken less seriously than the original Covenant. They’re like a rogue, zealous rebel faction.
Then, if the Arbiter’s Elites ally with humanity again, we’ll see some true -Yoink–kicking and a return of honor and nobility.

Why not both.

I think they should have brought the old Covenant back, because remember we just stopped them we didn’t necessarily disprove their religion and after the Didact it would appear like they were right. I think this would have made more sense than the Storm.
Not exactly when you have the prophets that have suddenly disappeared off the face of the galaxy, as well as the engineers which I also heard are gone too. Both which are rather important to Covenant Technology and such.
Engineers are still in existence, the UNSC and ONI has them. There was an Easter Egg in the Infinity concerning the Huragok, too.
