If Flood are playable models, I don’t see why “Elites” wouldn’t fit into canon. It’s a training simulation, after all. In the 26th century. On the best ship of it’s time in the entire universe.

I think if flood mode is removed Elites might become playable in the next game.

They aren’t just going to hire random people off the internet just because they say they could do something better than others. You need proof and some kind of portfolio to be able to show you can do such things and fit their criteria.

Honestly, people have been losing more faith in 343i at a more rapid pace ever since GDC, and I can’t really guess what’ll happen to Elites. Hopefully if we get Elites back, we get them perfectly, lest 343 twist our words and give us bastardized Elites.

I wonder what multiplayer would be like if 343 added everything the community wanted and ignored multiplayer canon. They could have added canon after to make it fit, or let the community make their own seperate versions of canon for multiplayer.

that was the fun part about not having canon, we had our own conclusions.

We can use either a Needle Shotgun or Needle Revolver. The Shotgun has 3 needles, and it could have two shots for a supercombine, or it won’t kill. The Revolver can have a clip of 6 needles and requires 4 needles for a supercombine. It can also headshot. I need to work on these concepts, but these are the basics for these weapons that I just thought of.

A Needle Sniper Rifle could work as well. Headshots would be an immediate supercombine, could even have some sort of effect on nearby people. Could also have a needle grenade to replace the loss of the spike grenade.

Yeah, the last time we had Bows in video games, we already have plenty of them in Battlefield, Tomb Raider, and Crysis 3 so No thanks. And instead of Needles, I rather have a full on Plasma shotgun. Whats a bunch of needles going to do against vehicles? Nothing. Another thing, keep the beam rifle as is, no need to dumb it down.
Shotguns arn’t suppsoed to be anti-vehicles.

That is a very cool idea. Funky yet it could work. Could make some really awesome screenshots happen too.
Ya know what’d be awsome? if they decide to make the Sanghelli accessable custom wise,be awsome if you select a visor color on your Elite the eyes of the helmet on like the aesetic could change,and the same can be said about the visor on the Jetpack Elites etc.
