If ONI wants to assure humanities saftey, especialey now that helsy is helping Jul.(spoiler alert for those who never played spartan ops) they would stop their plan of eltie genocide and get Thel’s help, otherwise live with the fact that a scientist who knows everything on the UNSC and is now working for their most hated enemy. who also happens to be alies with these new knights that don’t -yoink- around.
Either way the UNSC just shoved a thumb up its -Yoink-.
Though can someone answer me this.
343 took the time to make new maps and have title updates, and a new Forge Map. Sooooooo how come they hadn’t made a Sangheili DLC/Patch yet?

because the canon is makeing it to where Elties arn’t in Halo 4’s multiplayer, I know 343 was seeing these demands for Elties to be plaayble again, however I think we need to get more notice, but right now, their to busy dealing with the people who hate Halo 4 for being diffrent.
so Halo 5 is our chance.

Or at least we assume it was mp canon. 343 never gave us a good reason why Elites were gone=(

“Heirs to the Mantle”, eh? Haven’t we seen this before? Will humanity follow on from their predecessors? I hope not. Humanity’s place as inheritors of the Mantle is all I can really fall back upon, really. That and the community’s reception to such genocide.
I had always assumed the reason why the Forerunners failed was due to their weakening other species, instead of using their strengths to help build a better, or more defendable, community. If the Forerunners had uplifted the other species, instead of protecting their superiority, could the Forerunner-Flood War have gone any different? If humanity snubs the Sangheili, weakening them so as to not threaten their primacy, how are they any different to the Forerunners? Bah.
Probably being a bit idealistic, but oh well. I have no idea how the Sangheili-ONI/UNSC situation is going to pan out.

The possibility of having a united Earth/Sanghelios makes for a powerful army, but because Earth refuses to act upon such a future they forsake themselves to a weakened state. What ONI could do is see the opportunity to take Elites that would join in an alliance and use them to help protect ONI interest so they’re not as vulnerable. Over time the alliance might grow due to the easening between Humans and Elites.

exactley, so if I was encharge I would do whats best for the earth and work with my former enemy to stop a greater threat, especialey if Jul succeeds on killing humanity, sanghilios would be next. plus thats hwat saved humanity in the war.

They did say Halo 5 was suppose to be a darker title. It might force Humanity into another alliance with the Elites.

exactley,s esne thel would feel like Jul has disgraced their race, and then used the relics as his tool of power.
Imagine how -Yoink!- the Elites would look in Halo 5. They become more and more awesome to look at over the course of the games and I can’t wait to see how they change next.
I also wonder how this’ll effect the Arbiter’s appearance.

I remember somewhere that 343 (I think) in Halo 4 (once again, I think) said that they made the grunt models different because they were a similar yet seperate species. They could do the same with Elites in which the multiplayer Elites are the same size but are more limited because of the changed conditions that the multiplayer versions were raised in.

They can change the model but shrink them to an appropriate size

true, after all spartan and Elites are close to the same in height.
you also know what sucks?..Halo 4 finaley has a updated forge by the anme of Forge island., and Elites aren’t evan playable. UGH!!!

They might be working on Elites right now. I’d rather they take their time and do a good job like they did with Forge Island.

They’ll have to place the textures and the coding for the Elites into all the maps in order for us to play as them, which would be difficult to do. Same goes for new armor, unless it’s disk locked content, then it would be no problem. But seeing as how it isn’t, as modders would have probably found Elite player models, 343 will have to do a MASSIVE job in to bringing them into Halo 4. Seeing as it would take too much time off their hands from Halo 5, they probably won’t put in Elites into Halo 4. It’ll also have to be a massive update, I presume.

If their engine sucks then yes, otherwise it wouldn’t be as big a problem as people think.
Also, 343 should hire me, I’ve been known to due Elite and Grunt impressions when I’m bored.

I herd somehting about a code for Elites in Halo 4 but I guess it was proven to be the code for the NPC Elites.
343 should conduct a grand survey when someone opens up Halo 4. So they could get results on how many people would play as Elites.
