Kinda what I was saying except I thought it should work like incenaration cannnon but also be charged for one powerful slug.

nah I think the Elties Equivelent to that should be the fuel rod gun.
and evan give the Elites the plasma launcher as a spartan alser equivelent.

No. I can’t see the Sangheili and UNSC doing anything together except through the small thread of friendship that the Arbiter and Lord Hood have. Jul’s faction creating it with Forerunner tech and having the technology leaked too Sangheilios by a possible spy I could see. Arby ain’t too happy about his genocidal brethren so he could have sent spies into the Storm

The Sangheili and the UNSC would be forced into an alliance if they were threatened by a greater force then either side. That force last time was the covenant. This time it could be Jul if he chose to destroy any Sangheili that was neutral or positive with humanity (which could be a possible enemy to what he wants). He would likely begin to attack his enemies when his forces were strengthened. Jul would strengthen his forces by waiting for Halsey to forge the other half of the key (she’s smart enough to design forerunner engines). Therefore it would make him a much larger threat then before. Maybe powerful enough to force both side to once again form an alliance.

that could work, klets not forgett eh flood where a threat to, and they still could be a threat.

Either way, the Sangheili and some of the other races would find themselves being asked by the UNSC for help somehow. Just like all races humanity would be too prideful (and a bit butt hurt) to ask for help until that point in which one goes “Um this is awkward but…”
As for a Sangheili shotty, that would be interesting perhaps the rounds fired out are more of a high impact slug like the Carbine.
Best I could think of it is the Super BattleDroid’s Trishot from Star Wars battlefront. If anyone remembers THAT game.

Dude I loved those games so much! I wish they would make Battlefront 3!

No, I can’t see it. Halsey will never be able to create the other half of the Janus Key. Yes, she is the foremost expert in Forerunner technology, but the Forerunners designed it to be only used when the two halves were combined. Knowing Forerunner technology, it would be near impossible for the other half to be created. Am I right to understand that Infinity’s engines were simply transplanted from one of the ships on Trevelyan? Or were they used as a template to create the engines using human materials? Either way, I find it improbable that humanity (and, in turn, Halsey) would be able to replicate the Forerunner alloy. The Covenant didn’t, even after 2000 years of research by the San’shyuum (IIRC). Anyway, after that ramble, I agree with everything else.
That threat may be alluded to in Silentium. shivers D:

Yes. Oh, how I loved Battlefront. I could see that. Or possibly used in the same fashion as the the Geth Plasma Shotgun in Mass Effect, or perhaps the Bowcaster again from Battlefront.
Yes. If it’s as informative as the first EVG, I would certainly get it. I definitely am. I hope it shines some light on some of the discrepancies brought up by Halo 4. Maybe info on the Arbiter’s whereabouts?

now how about a covie equivelent to a spartan laser, for the Elties?, soemhting they can use in the storya nd multiplayer. wich I think Elties have a chance in Halo 5.

A gun that shoots a radioactive laser/ball or something that takes a moment to lock onto an enemy, but once it locks on you can wait anytime you want to shoot it and it will track the enemy down. Anyone that gets in it way dies but the shot keeps going until it reaches its target. It would have a few seconds to lock on and the enemy would be fully aware of it by something equal to the mini tracking laser that comes off a spartan laser.
A new element to gameplay could be a terminal placeable on the battlefield. The terminal depending on the faction wether its Covenant tech or UNSC tech would launch artillery on a spot on the field. The amount of times it could be used and its recharge speed could be edited in forge.

1st Shhhhh your using logic that isn’t allowed in the reclaimer trilogy!
2nd Yeah your probably right learning more about the Arbiter’s situation would be worth it. Plus I am kinda of interested in the Didact’s ship even though Infinity’s MAC’s shouldn’t be able to harm it but that was brought up in another thread and started a huge internet fight so I won’t go further into that.

P.S. Someone should make a Facebook for Battlefront 3 so we can let Disney know that we want it! Then again I personally want Republic Commando 2 and Bounty Hunter 2 as well. In Battlefront 3 I would want to fulfill my dream of commanding a star destroyer what would you like to see?
now to the ones who think Elites as a simulation, or sparring partner would not work for MP. whats your Idea?, cause we need to atleast give 343 some more options incase the training simulation Elites or Sparing partner idea can’t work.
Im not saying I don’t have faith in the Idea, but we need to make sure we have plenty of options avalible for them. because there is no one way to do things.

Yep, I agree. Do we have any more? I’m still at my dead-end with them.
Having our Sangheili as simulations should work. Infinity’s training simulations are canon of only a vague sort. We only know it’s Riser Fields and (non-touchable, I might add) holographics. There’s no explanation on how a player could teleport (this technology shouldn’t be available to humanity at this point), or respawn. Anyway, according to the little we know, a Sangheili model could be overlaid onto the Spartan-IV (albeit at a smaller size to keep hit-boxes somewhat in line) in the same manner Hologram works. Though we know relatively nothing of how it works, (How can a Mantis suddenly appear on the battlefield, when human holographics shouldn’t be able to be physically touched at this point? Or when Slipspace translocation hasn’t yet been achieved by humanity? We haven’t seen this in any other pieces of human technology thus far) it could be possible for a Sangheili to be used a vehicle somehow (yes, that’s weird). On the other hand, (if I’m wrong, and human holographics are as advanced as the Forerunner’s) a Sangheili could be used as kind of War Games avatar, like, I assume, a Monitor would be in Forge (if Forge is seen as canon).
You see, we have so little information on the mechanics of War Games that you can’t prove a simulated Sangheili could work, or whether it couldn’t. Bah, I don’t know. I think (and hope) it should anyhoo.
And yes, Dachilla, someone really should. Bah, I’m still excited by this. xD

Elites could be:
Combat Skeletons in which Spartans enter and perhaps a holographic image is presented over the skeleton.
ONI attempts to make new more powerful Spartans by using Elite DNA. The subjects mutate to different degrees creating Human-Sangheili hybrids.
Some Elites in an area encounter Infinity on its course to where ever and request help to destroy covenant fanatics who have refused to back down their attacks against Humanity. Upon the fanatics defeat the Elites join the Infinity to join the fight against Jul and his fanatics.
An Elite planet is stumbled upon where a civil war is occuring. It would explain the return of invasion exept with Elites on your side this and all Elites as enemies.
One of Jul’s Remnant ships has been left stranded and followed Infinity through slipspace. The Remnant on the ship is filled with either non-believers who were forced to help serve, or its a prison ship that was left behind with Human and Elite prisoners.
Elites who have been left on Infinity and hiding since its bording have chosen to help Infinity in turn for continuing to live.
In reality, if Sangheili are not included in Halo 5 multiplayer, Halo will have been completely influenced by the overwhelming majority of simple-minded fools who believe that we have no place in the Halo Franchise. On the contrary however, because Halo would have simply ceased to be created without Sangheili. THAT is fact.

> - Combat Skeletons in which Spartans enter and perhaps a holographic image is presented over the skeleton.
> - ONI attempts to make new more powerful Spartans by using Elite DNA. The subjects mutate to different degrees creating Human-Sangheili hybrids.
> - Some Elites in an area encounter Infinity on its course to where ever and request help to destroy covenant fanatics who have refused to back down their attacks against Humanity. Upon the fanatics defeat the Elites join the Infinity to join the fight against Jul and his fanatics.
> - An Elite planet is stumbled upon where a civil war is occuring. It would explain the return of invasion exept with Elites on your side this and all Elites as enemies.
> - One of Jul’s Remnant ships has been left stranded and followed Infinity through slipspace. The Remnant on the ship is filled with either non-believers who were forced to help serve, or its a prison ship that was left behind with Human and Elite prisoners.
> - Elites who have been left on Infinity and hiding since its bording have chosen to help Infinity in turn for continuing to live.]
