The Elite equal to the DMR and Spartan laser. The carbine is already equalled to the BR, but maybe we could have a new type of needle rifle that is equal to the DMR.
How bout no thanks on the needle rifle stuff. The last time we had a needle rifle was on Reach, and they were extremely useless against vehicles…

Wow. We’ve certainly got a few more supporters over the past week haven’t we? Lets hope this continues! 
But 322 pages… This is a real achievement guys. I think we can certainly feel a little proud of ourselves, don’t you think?

Why not have multiple precision weapons? Having more variety is good. The Carbine could be shown as having higher power, and the Needle Rifle higher rate of fire. Or there could be more of a difference between the two. We have the DMR and the Battle Rifle at the same time, and that seems to work out okay.
Agreed on the anti-vehicle capabilities. After Reach, weapons like the DMR have been extremely overpowered against vehicles. Who knew a rifle could destroy a 47 tonne piece of heavily armoured assault vehicle? Being destroyed by a few people with DMRs whilst in a wraith (yes, it has happened multiple times -.- ) seems a bit unrealistic if you ask me.

Well I am just saying that if you remember correctly, the covies do not have any good weapon back on Reach to even counter the vehicles. The Needle Rifle was a complete joke since they just bounced off them. They had extreme range when it came to infantry but that was just about it. Other wise your just being spawn killed alot during invasion.

Needler shotguns could have some unique functions to them. Like if you charge them up they turn another color and only stick to vehicles. Their could also be a needler launchers which could shoot like incineration cannons where they shoot big needles that shatter into smaller ones and go everywhere.
To be honest, I rather stick to plasma when it comes to Covie shotguns. The needler is all I need for the pink mist.

both Ideas sound good, now how about a covie equivilent to the spartan laser.

Shotgun wise, I was thinking multiple super-condensed radioactive rounds. We have enough Plasma weapons and the pink mist should be limited to Needlr (rifle too). We could use more radioactive weapons (Fuel Rod and Carbine are the only ones.)

yeah we can do that, and maybe give thel’s Elties a new weapon in collaberation with the UNSC.
