LMAO
If that happens, then I’m positive Arbiter will die from eating a Sweetroll. Cause Sweetrolls are poisonous to Sangheili.

>
> He may be a “terrorist”, with a hatred for Humans, but does this mean he should be simply killed off? His story ended in such a dreadful way? The thing that also sickens me, is that those who are less sympathetic than me will probably be happy for his death, probably seeing his death as comical. Is this just? Is this what we should expect from the “heirs of the Mantle”? Is this what we should expect now from later episodes/story material? Is this what we should expect from the writers? Every alien with a name killed? If Jul is killed, I have little hope for our plight; he is the last Sangheili living with a name in Halo 4. If he is killed, what then?

You’re gonna hate the cutscene with Majestic then, like really hate it. Like you’re probably gonna wanna burn Earth.

Secondly, watch yourself, as I said Frankie has it out for us.

Lastly, if there is a Halo array out there floating in space…and in the year 2556, I hope my kids aren’t like the -Yoinks!- in the UNSC.

Though perhaps there is some amount of hope, human yes, but hope none the less.

Her name is Doctor Catherine Hasley, if ONI wants her dead with the rest of the UNSC…I think she’ll need anything and everything available. Her only tool realistically due to a certain Spartan II gone evil…

is the Remnant and Promethean Knights.

Yeah… I might want to end my Spartan Ops career before I go on glassing runs… xD

FORGIVE ME FRANKIE! THY ALMIGHTY GOD, WIELDER OF THE INDEFATIGABLE SPACE MOP! D:

I hope Jul dies soon he needs to be killed off for disgracing the Sangheili race. He uses Forerunner weapons which no Sangheili would ever EVER touch because they are made by their Gods however Jul doesn’t believe them to be their Gods it doesn’t matter though if his race finds out that he’s doing this he could be executed and his bloodline wiped out. He is also touching UNSC equipment. First nukes now vehicles. What’s next weapons? No Covenant would ever touch those! Jul is just going to the extreme to get what he wants which is to wipe out the human race by getting Forerunner tech and using it. I can’t wait to see him and I hope we get to kill him. Not in a cinematic scene I’d rather want to kill him with my own hands!! OFF WITH JUL’S HEAD!!!

Meh, I was not a fan of Gek anyways, seeing how he was taking his sweet time just to kill a Spartan. Could have just finished off Gabriel Thorne right there and then, but that didn’t happen. Still, the only thing I rather be focusing right now is what Dr.Halsey is doing within that huge amount of energy field she is in now. After all, Jul Mdama is a power hungry guy for destruction of humanity so why focus on him when we have other people to worry about? Like Thel Vadam as an example if he is even alive…

I do agree Jul is a threat, and faithless no doubt. AS he told Dr. Hasley, he wants power. So does rest of the UNSC, Kig-yar pirates, Brutes, and Telcam, oh and ONI (how could I forget them.)

Yeah if it came down to a stand off I’d go after Jul in a boss fight in the game. And more than happily take off his head with an energy sword.

As for his usage of UNSC tech, and Forerunner tech, plothole is all I can think of, for wouldn’t most Remnants not use them in their beliefs, it probably shows some amount of change or something skewed in their current beliefs. Once again plothole.

On Gek, yeah he just took -Yoink!- long to do anything, still they killed him off too soon. And in my opinion Fireteam Majestic acted very unprofessional after they searched the body.
(realistically speaking, I do believe that would have been a court marshal in this time)

On Thel Vadam, we probably won’t hear from him until Halo 5 or in the last Kilo-Five book. (Right, there is only Glasslands and Thursday War last I remember). Though I’m willing to place my bets that he’s alive and well.

As for the usage of UNSC and Forerunner gear, then I do believe we are all guilty on that account, except for nukes I don’t think anyone here has tried to use nukes right? Right?

Random stuff (Again): How many Grunts does it take to put in a plasma battery?

Spartan II gone evil, your kidding me.

but its a shame Gek got waseted, but I guess it sokay as long as thel is okay.

and I hope ONI gets whats comming to them for makeing her take the fall.

what I meant by a Spartan II gone evil is the fact that Admiral Osman was a candidate in the Spartan II program, however she “washed out” And now she’s the head of ONI correct me of I’m wrong.

ONI is corrupting for sure, with the kind of power it wields, I really can’t say.

We do still have Telcam after Jul but 343i may crisp the info up. I always thought of Jul as like a henchman and Telcam as like the Kingpin of the entire Remnant armada. There might be more like Jul elsewhere on his side.

Same here or at least when I can replace my copy of Reach(it got scratched=(.

what makes you so sure of that?. its the only way we can make Elites Playable in the campaigen, besides based on what I read evan via the scource you guys get your info from, said somehwere that the civil war on sanghilios is over.
so we can’t get coverage of the civil war on halo 5.

but I would like someone to correct me on that.

This “Multi-player canon” was, according to 343, the most important factor in their removal, not balance. Balance only matters if we are wanting Sangheili back into full multi-player, which isn’t our priority. :stuck_out_tongue:

those highlighted are just right. those are what we need to see to make Elites playble cause I don’t think they would ever shrink the Elites.

I know I said I wouldn’t, but I’m going to rant anyway. I’m getting quite good at it as of late.

Jul 'Mdama. I still can’t get my head around him. Should we feel sorry for him? He is captured by Humans after finding his home was under threat of Human intervention, and is then tested upon to find how “successful” poisonous crops (that would be used on his home) were. He finally escapes, to find his wife had been killed at the hands of Humans. To be honest, if we were meant to hate him, and see him as an antagonist, Karen did a bad job. Again, it might be a case of me “over-sympathising” (is that even possible?) with those we are not supposed to.

And then, after all that. Everything he goes through in Kilo-five, and we are meant to hate him in Halo 4. Am I the only one who does not? I most certainly not want to kill him. I can’t help but think this another case of hatred succeeding over rational thought; humanity captured him, experimented on him, and killed his wife. And yet no-one in the UNSC would blink an eyelid before gunning him down. Has no-one in the UNSC thought about why he might want revenge? If someone has, then why do they all simply want to kill him? The (not) funny thing is, if ONI had not intervened in Sangheili affairs, there would not be a remnant, or the Jul we know now. Only a weak Abiding Truth and an angry Sangheili with anti-human views.

For me, Jul is a difficult one to find judgement on. I do find sympathy where there should be none, but I’m not sure it is the case here. I know it’s cheesy, but; “Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be so eager to pass death as judgement. For even the wise cannot see all ends.” I understand his desire for revenge, and can sympathize with it. But I can’t sympathize/justify his actions themselves. I don’t really know what I want from his character in the future; I don’t want him to die, but I don’t want him to kill… Bah. :stuck_out_tongue:

As for Sangheili using Human weapons, the guys here have some pretty interesting points.

Again, I have some pretty strange views, finding sympathy where there should be none. Don’t hesitate to point it out guys, I want to know whether my views are shared, or whether I have, lets say, “unique” views. xD

Though I stand by what I said about Gek. I’m still pretty upset that the only other Sangheili in Halo 4 that has a name has been killed off. If Jul dies, I’ll be even more upset. Don’t get me wrong, I dislike the Covenant remnant and what it stands for. But from my point of view, any “living” Sangheili with a name and a reasonable story is a triumph. For one of them to be killed is a major step backwards.

I say it’s unlikely as there is a very small chance that a ship would stumble across Requiem and Infinity, Sangheili or otherwise.

That doesn’t mean to say it isn’t possible, nor does it mean that it isn’t a valid way Sangheili could be included. Sorry if I offended…

Hey guys I know this is a little off topic, but what if Thorne is being built up to replace Master Chief! I personally don’t like this idea maybe I should make a thread about this.

Dissapointingly, I swear to God Jul would die, not now or soon, but much later in the story :frowning:

> Hey guys I know this is a little off topic, but what if Thorne is being built up to replace Master Chief! I personally don’t like this idea maybe I should make a thread about this.

hop to it then man, if its on your mind, get it out, make a thread.

hey I do feel bad for Jul myself, loosing his wife and being tested by humans for poisoness crops.

but two wrongs don’t make a right, his reasons for being angrey are understandible, but on the the other hand his actions are not acceptable, ONI arn’t much of the good guys either.

I also know that talking about the story is great, but we need to keep focus on makeing elties playable.

do we have any more ideas?. like what to include for there armor, cause we can still add some new ones.

I was thinking of an armor that would kind of but look abit like a cobra on the helmet. that would be my primary one. for an Elite.

I wonder if its possible for Telcam and Jul to unite forces, possing a powerful threat. Even though Jul hates humans he isn’t shy of using Glassman or Halsey for help. Neither does he shy away from using human or forerunner weapons. Telcam is the same about human weapons. The threat would force ONI to help Thel’s side, but due to Telcam’s knowledge he can rat ONI out to the UNSC. It might cause a major civil war between ONI loyalists and the UNSC. It could end up as a Two or Three way war. Where ONI would be forced to ally itself with Telcam and Jul to keep themselves alive and use their ally, or to stay by themselves. Either way Thel and the UNSC would be forced to directly ally themselves with each other to combat the new threat.

Start simple, noting that Sangheili are willign to help humanity here and there.

So as sims for sure.

It would also bring about new weapons such as the Plasma Launcher back into play.

What I’d want to see return is the Halo 3 armors along with some from Reach.
