I’d be super keen for an elite based playlist in Halo 4 and definetly in for elites in Halo 5 and 6.
> If Elites were to come back, I would love for there to be a limited edition Arbiter Armor. As long as its impossible to change his armor color, I would love it. Here is to Halo 5 with Elites!
Totally agree I would love Arbiter armor @#@# I would love to have the Arbiter back period!
Do not worry to much about the future of Halo because my fellow fans we are the future of Halo! 343 thinks Halo is just game but the truth it has become an idea and we are the ones who care about it and Halo was our’s before it was 343’s! So even if 343 screws it all up Halo will live on in our hearts and minds and if we keep wanting our Sangheili back then it will eventually happen!

Longevity. Longevity is probably our best way to keep this on the mind of 343.
Though I agree with Here Be Dragons (I know, I’ve regretted my earlier post ever since I sent it). We can think of reasons why our Sangheili can be moulded into multi-player canon, for example. I think that would be great in our ‘campaign’. We’ve already had a couple before (Note my previous post, and Didakt’s points). It would be great if more can be thought of.
It is my opinion, that 343 took the wrong direction with their ‘multi-player canon’. They should have moulded canon into multi-player, not multi-player into canon. I.e. they should be giving reasons why our Sangheili could be included, not why they couldn’t. If that makes any sense at all.

Yesh! I’m still waiting for mine in Halo 3. xD
The only time I can only think of being in the Arbiter armor would most likely be in Halo 2 Anniversary…I wonder how shiny his armor would be by then…

or they could not add canon in the game at all, that way elties could be playable evreywhere.

I’m sure it’s here to stay, unfortunately. Though it would make everything a hell of a lot easier.
I’ve been thinking, was it ever explicitly stated what the medium was for Infinity’s simulations? I won’t go in-depth here, but holograms seem highly illogical; I was under the impression that the forerunners had such a grasp on holography that they were able to intermingle their holographics and Hard Light technology, to create physical, touchable, objects. Now, if these, supposed, holograms in Infinity’s simulations are able to be touched, then they also would need a knowledge of Hard Light tech. I was also under the impression that Hard Light technology was incredibly hard to replicate, and that it was one of the few pieces of technology the Covenant could not reverse-engineer. So how would humanity be able to use it? If so, why not use it for other more important jobs?
I said I would try to be brief, and I kinda failed in that regard, but if my logic isn’t inherently flawed, does this mean that ‘multi-player canon’ goes against canon? Just a thought. I’ve probably missed vital information, but it’s food for thought anyways.
Halo: Covenant Evolved anyone?

I was thinking more along the lines of playing as all the Covenant species, but sure, that could work!

Sounds like a great idea. Would definitely add depth to the story in those areas. It would also be a chance to better explain the role of Thel 'Vadam and the Prophet of Stewardship. The adjunct in The Flood leaves quite a lot of story that could be unveiled in a story like this.

Yep, and it would add alot more variety in gameplay.

And perhaps see something on Covenant species backgrounds
The more I look at what 34 is doing with the Haloverse, the more I’m convinced they want to get rid of Sangheili. I seriously hope thats not the case.

Don’t we all.
I hope there is a U-turn at some point. I have faith in 343, I hope it is not misplaced.

Or better yet,add elites and a playable version for prometheons.
> Or better yet,add elites and a playable version for prometheons.
Scale down the Didact model, boom playable Promethean.
Its sad were fighting to re-add something we already had. by this time in Halo’s history this thread should have been “Brutes in new trilogy matchmaking” or Promethean s.
Making promethean elites would be certainly cool (did anyone see that btw?).

Sounds like a dumb idea to me actually…

It seems possible, but I can’t really see it… The way The Didact describes the Sangheili in Forerunner (“Beasts”, “Primitives”) I can’t see him turning them into his “guardians”.
It’s a cool idea though.
