Well if Boss fights would be done right, I say it be pretty cool. Considering we have not had those since Halo 2.

Thats evan better spartans and Elites joining to put a boot up Jul’s.
What’s with all the hate for Jul? I know my views are a little skewed sometimes, but doesn’t anyone feel he has been forced onto us as a “mindless bad guy”?
I’ve voiced my opinion on him enough times, I still can’t see him as the antagonist he is made out to be. Don’t get me wrong, I dislike the Remnants and such, and want them to be disbanded. But if we kill him, what makes us any different to those who abducted him and killed his wife? Anyway, if he dies, then he would become a martyr, wouldn’t he?
A trial, where his story, and the doings of ONI, are told. This is what I want in future material, though unlikely.
Was it Dural or Asum who wrote the letter at the end of Thursday War? I can’t remember.
Funny you bring that up, considering how ONI was treating the “Mother” of the SPARTAN II program it seems that even within the UNSC dissent is rising again.
Insurrectionists no longer having to side with their Loyalist brothers can now turn their guns against the UNSC.
In truth, aside from dealing with Jul Mdama who justifiably wants revenge, the UNSC should also be ready to collapse on itself due to its “Monument of its own Sins.” A civil war in Halo Reclaimer Trilogy, along with Jul, and more Forerunners would be an interesting conflict. Furthermore ONI is the cause of a lot of negative things to happen and it would be poetic justice and irony if it bit them in the rear.
Of course depending if 343 are self righteous bigots something that complex in plot could never occur to their writers or taskmasters.
However, if that happens in this trilogy of games…I’ll take a picture and I’ll eat my own shoe or something. OR gnaw on a Plasma Grenade.
Like many others, i have bonded with playing as a sangheili. I have also bonded with focusing or getting into the storyline from the covenant’s point of view of the halos and inferior species. I played the arbiter missions over and over in halo 2 from gradually enjoying it. In halo 3 is were i first got xbox live, and when people started asking me to play campaign im like, “only if im 2nd, 3rd, or 4th so that i can play as an elite”. Now i noticed that halo 2&3 are the most fair adjusted on both sides (in my opinion) of playable species: spartans and elites both have a weapon of the same power and similar damage for that type of weapon on the other species side. The vehicles are fair: scorpion has the power and precision, wraith has the speed and armor. Ghost has boosters and plasma shooters, mongoose can transport ( and lets not forget that the passenger may wield and weapon while riding) players. Hornet can hover in one spot, can carry two passengers with any weapon of choice, and has lock-on rockets, therefore, the banshee can maneuver using banshee tricks to dodge the rockets, and has a banshee bomb and boosters. Sadly i cant compare the hogs to anything but the prowler which of corse is a jiralhanane vehicle. Now when i first played reach and seem how the elites are taller and stronger, jumps higher, runs faster, and can regenerate health over the spartans, i though it was neat but maybe unfair to the spartans. But then i realized they have a bigger hitbox, -Yoink- weapons, cannot crouch as low as spartans, and are not

But then i realized they have a bigger hitbox, -Yoink- weapons, cannot crouch as low as spartans, and are not playable most MP i was a little angered. Then i started reading stories on forums were MLG (the -Yoink- MLG players that hate sangheili, not the average ones) players were complaining in halo 3 about the “elites heads being too hunched over to were they cant get headshots from behind the elite and the elites can crouch lower behind cover”…?Wtf??? So my reply was “if your sooo damn badass at this game with a K/D ratio in the top of the leader boards and a pro BR/ sniper headshoting king them why not use you badass skills and bank shot a wall, ground, or an object to headshot the poor -Yoink-???” All i got out of that was respect xD and alot of drama from spartan players. Now skiping around to another argument… I notice how bungie always let players have fun in halo: for those “cheaters” that found those hiding spots were the killboundaries did not exist, bungie was always watching and pretty much let everybody find out the spot and have a little bit of fun for a few weeks and finally patched the spot so ppl would stop whining. They also must have cared enough to at least keep the sangheili playable even though they had to find ways around the MLG players -Yoinking!----now from what i have heard whether it be from forums, Xbox halo fans and players, youtube, ect., apparently microsoft was going to -Yoink- bungie over in the halo games so that halo would loose its popularity on xbox. So since 343 is a microsoft studio, bungie decided to get a little revenge before they leave: making 343 sign a contract saying that 343 may not have any original sounds, graphics, and may not have elites or SII, SIII, playable as well. So 343 basically must start off new… Spartans IV’s. well i dont know if any of this is true, but im assuming it might as well be and i should believe it— now skipping around not to far from what i was just on…MLG. Another -Yoink- thing i have heard rumors about ist that the MLG would no longer sponsor the halo games if 343 didnt agree and sign the contract and especially enforce non playable elites. Well that just sad on their part. Now the sangheili community may only be from 20-40% of halo’s population, but imagine how much halo would go downhill if 343 and the MLG dont listen to the sangheili fanbase and ruin the future of halo…resulting in the game in the market going down because less and less people buy it for reasons like not being original and not having elites playable…yes i just said it, people wont buy the game because they simply cannot play as an elite. And trust me, i have a few people on my accounts friend list that did not purchase halo 4 for that reason( they didnt even buy it and return it). — skiping around again… I will give 343 a few thumbs up for halo 4( yes i bought it and i love the game). Let me start by saying that the weapons are awesome and fair, the forerunner weapons are seriously -Yoinking!- awesome… I may sound like a power weapon noob, but i love the incineration cannon and the binary rifle. The armor abilities are cool, only wish that they would not have a radar jammer for camo and especially not blue “neutral” dots. I say the jet pack is better since it does not stop at 10 feet and run all the extra fuel out, but 343 could have made it have more fuel per use. The hardlight shied is wayyyy better than having armor lockup, but i wish my shields would recharge while i used it. And last on the armor abilities is the thruster pack, i only have to say that it is nice to have an instant reaction movement on the battlefield, but i wish it would go a longer distance or at least have 2 thrusts per use like evade had in halo reach. Now to continue… I love spartan ops a lot. They did a good job on the so-far story line and the missions. MP is not bad, i just wish 343 wasnt so picky on the map and would not put so many stupid kill boundaries on the map in spots that are not even cheat spots. I love how i can thrust and lunge my “claw” at the same time while playing as the flood, it makes me a ninja at the flood gametype. The campaign was pretty damn good, but one thing that kind of disappointed me is how halo 2&3 was just starting to get into the covenant side a bit deeper… Then 343 turns around and focuses 90% on forerunners all sudden and goes too deep to fast. But the last thing i can think of that awsome is how the clan raids i help NAVCOM in, on big maps mainly impact, feel like im playing Star Wars Battle Front 2 all over again. The graphics of blood and explosions are better since they stay there till the game ends. Running through a corridor( space station tunnel thing) on the map impact with a few friendlies and a few lone wolf/randoms behind me while we all have to dodge binary shots and incineration cannon explosions coming from a small barricade up ahead of me is quiet the feel, especially having turtle beach x32 headset.— well i have let out a big list of opinions from me and i hope 343 will listen to the sangheili fanbase and the forums for once. Add me on Xbox if you want.

I don’t think he is a mindless bad guy. I know he had a tragic story and form What I herd the death of his wife was accidental when they where testing a new weapon.
yes I feel bad for Jul. his reason for being upset is undestandible, but his actions are not acceptable. and while he is an antagonist he isn’t the main bad guy.
Confession bear: I actually love jul mdama.
Love.
It’s the only elite I look up to. Sweet husband to raia too . I really pity him at the part where he misses raia in his cell

I do pity him, his story is such a sad one. If we are expected to hate him, Karen certainly did a bad job. I just hope that 343 doesn’t make him out to be one of those “mindless evil aliens”. I hope his story comes out in SpOps at some point. It would certainly add a depth of character to those who haven’t read kilo-five.
LONG LIVE SANGHEILI

Sadly the UNSC won’t be showing any pity.
but maybe in Halo 5 they will flesh them out.

If 343 is bound by contract why don’t they just say that instead of risking the wrath of the Sangheili! Another note if Bungie did get the rights to elites out of this perhaps we will see them in their new games.
Lets just hope 343 is just some ultimate troll, and will revert to being balanced about sangheili
Random question: because my avatar is too small. Is that elite real or in game art?

And thats where I see somehting wrong with that. if Bungie had the rights to the elites they would not be an enemy in Halo 4.
so yeah I don’t think thats true.
still they are hearing all the feedback good and bad. and im certain the Elites will be playable in the next game.
> Sigh… Cute
what was strange was back in the sumer I had a dream of an Elite as playable int he new trilogy
One thing I also realized who also got SCREWED in Halo 4 were Machinima makers who used Sangheili in them. Kind of a shame that no one took them into account, or perhaps there was mention of it somewhere within the 294 other pages of this forum.
Someone does commissions for that I think
