Sadly I am at a point now where I don’t see this ever happening. Halo 4 was a flop with or without Elites, and 343i is refusing to acknowledge the community’s suggestions and issues. Elites are the least of their worries now.
I really miss playing as an elite. The decisions that have been made for match making are very disappointing especially the one to keep multiplayer tied into cannon (a poor idea) and cutting elites out of the game. Some of these new elite armors are unbelievably amazing, my personal favorite is the warrior, and it makes me mad knowing that these awesome character models are not available for the elite fan base.
I would have like to have sat in the room where the big decisions were being made for halo four and hear what they had to say for making a decision to take out a playable race that has been in the game for seven years.

They won’t listen to common bs but I believe that if somebody or a grand portion of the community can give an exuberant yet meaningful reason why elites should return, then they’ll probably create some stories involving them. They weren’t barbaric like the brutes were, though they do attack you if you were close, and created one new weapon in comparison to the brutes making more as well as blueprinting vehicles and allowing the engineers to construct them. They’re still elites, only that they’re gilded inside unfortunately. After winning a war against brutes certainly would alter how their battle tactics work and developing much more arsenal to put them on the brink of chaos to their own kind. That I understand,
However, entirely removing them promotes the idea that 343i abandoned them for storytelling is ( I usually hate saying this) not fair to the elite community. I feel that abandonment made the community creased whether or not we should trust 343i or not. It’s a trilogy, however, and anything at this point may bound to happen whether our scaly friends will for their next installment, yet I do respect their claim for making the “Reclaimer trilogy”, so we may not become elites perhaps for Halo 4 but hopefully they will toss a monkey wrench into the storyline and make some enlightenment or gratitude in why we should have elites return. singling out the Spartans makes the gameplay much less of a experience and more of another shooter.
I certainly agree that elites should’ve been in the game but until we hear from them, all we can do is make predictions and argue at each other about current and possibly later topics until the next game. I believe that they show apathy even to their loyal fans and nothing but frustration upon us but what matters, I haven’t seen one 343 employee or Frankie himself make comments. I will not give up and I will certainly share my opinions as this is ongoing until they resolve it, by a single comment or an announcement.

Chuckles Alright, you move on, but I know I am gonna keep my foot on the ground and still be a proud Sangheili fan and I will still remain as one for the years to come. I’m not gonna stop you from moving on but to me, after drawing elite art and playing as them since Halo 2, I cannot move anywhere away from them.

Then why did you buy/play Halo Reach and Halo 4?
Your actions contradict your words, friend. You are still giving MS/Bungie/343i their money and supporting their games despite the dirt they’ve thrown in your face.
If you, and the Elite community as a whole REALLY cared, they would all still be playing Halo 3.

I don’t mean to offend but he same can be said about a ranking system and wanting to get rid of armor abilities people would be wasting their time wanting that sort of thing and wanting to remove AAs. and hey let the community want Elites in the game. its no diffrent from people wanting to remove Armor ailites or Halo 3’s ranking system to return.
if people still care about wanting Halo 3’s Ranking system or the removal of AA’s They’d be playing Halo 3 to.

I’m with Kaine. I have been playing as a Sangheili since my first game of Halo 2, all the way up to Reach, without fail. And have been a Sangheili follower throughout my Halo career. I will not move on, all the way up to Halo 6 if need be.
I suggest that you do not move on either. By “moving on” you give up the chance to help get your Sangheili back. Now, we have already stated reasons for why Sangheili could be allowed into the current iteration of Halo multi-player. What is next? Shall we bring them up to 343 here perhaps? If it isn’t being ignored like everything else.

No, by playing Halo 3, you change nothing. Perhaps we care about the franchise as a whole? Halo: Reach made us lose our Sangheili, but we still had them. I was fine with that. I bought Halo 4 for campaign, and story purposes.

Don’t worry about what he said. what were after is to include sangjilli and the spartans who support us are the ones who like Elites or the ones who want to have an epic battle with us.
I care about the Sangheili alright. But I also care for Halo as a whole. I’m interested on what Catherine Halsey is gonna be involved with later. I care about Thel Vadam still fighting to survive on his own planet. I care about Jul M’dama and all the other important characters will do later down along the story.But still, my place is with my fellow Elite brothers cause well…it’s what I want to do. I don’t need proof to show that I care about Elite’s.
And I would be playing more Halo 3 if my connections were any good since it is hard to keep up with people that well as Reach and 4. I don’t enjoy them as much as I did with the past games but I still continue playing anyways.

I do still play Halo 3 but lets face it is aging and I don’t how much longer it will be playable=( I bought Halo 4 because I wanted to give it a chance but let 343 be warned unless they bring back Sangheili I highly doubt I will do the same for Halo 5! 343 needs to remember that they cannot just coast on the name of Halo , especially because Bungie is going to come out with their Activision game later this year plus they are working on bringing back Marathon! So with Bungie creating a new universe and bringing back what I hear was an old classic then I could see them giving 343 a run for their money!
P.S. We could also see Bungie’s games on PS 3 now that they don’t work for Microsoft.

I Beleive we will get more ont he Elites soon. it may be the recaimer saga but theres still sub plots going on around it.
So we’re back at square one essentially.
IF 343i listens to us then we can hope that Halo 5 will be a major improvement over Halo 4. Sad truth is I never put down a Halo game so quickly except ODST, and that was fun. Halo 4 is like nails to a chalkboard and you’re tied down you can’t do a thing except scream.
However if they don’t then like I sadly stated earlier the Halo series will be murdered, a suicide if you wish to call it that.

Indeed it can.
I brought this up earlier, but it seems it has been buried. If these are still being referred to, they could be used to bring up our reasons to 343. If anyone has a twitter account, that can also be used as a medium.
It seems as though the only way we can get a response from 343i is to bring it to them, personally. Through twitter. Though other threads have tried this, and have failed. Though this may be due to a mainly negative, or aggressive, attitude.
One thing is for certain, 343 are listening, though are being unnervingly silent as of late.
Halo waypoint twitter, bsangel, David Ellis, Jesse Snyder are active users of twitter. If we sort of spam them they would see. Maybe write: can we have elites back in H5. RT if you see this.
