Somebody who is foolish enough, who doesn’t have the wits or understandability on the situation about the Flood.

Especialey sense all the races ahve expeirenced the flood.

> > > alright here goes, green elites… i dont see why not, on a jungle environment they may want to blend in just like the marines do, maybe if he got mad at mdama and came to the infinity he could speak to the master chief, be an interesting conversation imo, then his elites could train with the spartan iv guys in wargames and it would make sense that way and not be rediculous. but they all need a variety of armor and the arbiter himself definitely does cause the arbiter armor was old and outdated by nearly a hundred years, even at the time he put it on its mentioned in passing how crappy its camo worked due to its old tech, also the arbiter from halo wars had that same exact armor so we know its that old at least. on that subject he should start dual wielding swords in cutscenes at least. but yeah i guess i see it, new armor for arbiter for sure though.
> >
> > I see, what you’re saying, but I disagree with the Arbiter removing his armor. An Arbiter is viewed as a mediator for the elites and the humans. If he removes it off from him, then he’ll be just like any ordinary elite. The actual purpose of him wearing that armor was by being religiously symbolic for order and justice in particular crisis. They also hoard the military and also engage in suicidal combat and missions and are also expected to perish and be known as a hero in order to lay a path upon to the Great Journey. The suit itself was restored honor to any elite who wore it after they were disgraced and challenges their experience against their opponents to restore their sense of honor.

Lol yes the Arbiter and his men should look like actual Elites and Jul’s should look like they currently do, you know inbred and sickly!

On the subject of Elite armor I do not want all the Arbiter’s Elites armor to be green because I like variety. I think it would be enough just to have the Arbiter’s men in Halo 3 armor and the Storm in their current armor. Bungie has done something like this before in Halo 2.

I didn’t say they all have to be green just a new faction of them, maybe a special squadron that thel created.

No, no, no… Sorry… There goes another explanation fail! xD

They would not have the Lights of Sanghelios as bodyguards, as they were Honour Guards. Many honour guards would have committed suicide after hearing they had defended such an honourless, lying, people (Kinda guessing from the Guardsmen in The Return anyway). But I guess they could do, not all Honour guards would have committed suicide. Or the Lights could still be seen in an honourable light… I don’t really know. Its possible though.

And I meant the Remnant (You may know them as storm, but us at Halopedia have agreed that “remnant” is more fitting, as “storm” is not mentioned anywhere outside the first OXM Halo 4 review) should not wear helmets.

Sorry about that. Hope that makes sense. :stuck_out_tongue:

And yes… Reptile’s optimism is *overwhelming… I’m starting to believe the Arbiter’s lack of mention in Halo 4 is to build up to his big entrance in Halo 5 (Or perhaps Spartan Ops… ).

That would be cool I would love to see a new Sangheili rank in green or perhaps an order of Sangheili like the Asetics!

Wrong word, sorry. “Overwhelming” was the word. Fix’d. I’m also in your position don’t forget! :stuck_out_tongue:

Why not both?

Green ascetics would be cool. Would definitely set the Arbiter’s troops from the remnants!

Its possible though.

that works to. the point is, the Elites would have a great diversity in armor from the storm troops.

I will not allow you to leave, this, forum!
So there has been no word on this “invasion code”? That seems to have disappeared.

I still beleave Halo 5 will do wonders and bring Elites into MP, lets focus on makeing them playable.

I hope so! I would also like Arbiter missions to return!

So thats a “no”?

Don’t forget, this thread is about “New Trilogy Matchmaking”. That includes Halo 4. Also, Halo 4 Sangheili DLC has still not been proved, nor disproved. It is still a possibility. Paarthurnax x talked about elites possibly being within the invasion code (That is why I asked), so, this is also a possibility. We can’t just focus on Halo 5, that isn’t the point of the thread.

We must focus on all possibilities to have our Sangheili back.

Again though, I wish I shared your optimism.

its ntot hat I think elites as DLC is possible its just that its never ben done with a first person shooter before.

bt Im certanly confident that Elites will be in Halo 5, and if not Halo 5 then halo 6.

Maybe there is a DLC with Invasion mode in one of them (not Crimson), yet, they still might not return the elites >bummer< T-T. My problem with Invasion mode was that it was a process to attack. I am hoping that if 343i redo or tweak the mode a bit (e.g. allow attacking team to have more firepower whereas the defending team have some cover or dense areas to maneuver and perform guerrilla-based attacks. Elites would be a perfect excuse for their return and perhaps have some stealth moments and all out assaults by them along with other covenant troops to aid them.

My issue for the return of the elites is that the animations for the them may take a long while (assassinations, AA usage, player movement, armor permutations, etc.) so they may either return as a DLC (possibly for Castle) or return in Halo 5.
