Got an idea. On the bulletin questions thread, ask if there will be an energy sword returning in halo 4. Why? Because the only species to use energy swords were the sangheili, and if the energy sword returns so must the sangheili, otherwise they might as well through their “canon” idea out the window as it would make no sense to have one and not the other.

Energy swords are one of the iconic Halo weapons (next BR, AR, and sniper), at least in my eyes. I hope they make a return.

Elites were humanity’s only ally in the Human vs. Covenant War. So to think that they would not in some way participate in the next galactic conflict along with humanity would be unheard of. So yes the sword will return if thats any indicator.
Halo would not be Halo without Elite. That’s official and I’m a Spartan fan! They’re monstrous beasts which are challenging to kill. I wan’t them to come back I also want them to play like Halo: Reach Elites. The hunched over Halo 3 version was just ugly and didn’t do them justice and that’s the only reason I didn’t become ‘Worty’ in H3. Then in Reach I was supper stoked on the Elites new appearance… until I found out they could only be used in 2 game types. I could understand why the Elites were unbalanced from a story and stats point of view but that can change now.
So I’m just throwing an idea to the wind here but how about since the game has been announced that there will be a ‘sort of perk’ system which will change performance of daid character. Why not have base stats editable by picking a certain species.
Spartans: Better Accuracy, Smaller Targets (Slightly)
Elites: Faster, Stronger (in melee)
and please for the love of God, BRUTES!!!

Or we could just make them equal and stop any flaming that may occur as a result…
they can still be scaled down without having to be hunched over… also Spartan IVs are apparently the same size as elites anyway, unlike spartan 3s which were small…
PLEASE 343, Hear Us! Dont make the game without us being considered as part of you immense fan base!

If they do have elites in HALO 4 MP, I wonder what classes there will be. Where the classes the same as reach in Halo 3?
who is thinking about forruner cross covanant weponds?
It is likely that halo 4 will include:
-new forerunner weapons
-new covenant weapons
-new human weapons
-old covenant weapons/human weapons
-new vehicles
-returning vehicles
I kind of got turned off from the Elites in Halo 3 because they felt a little cartoonish to me. I always played as an Elite in Halo 2, though.
I agree! And hopefully they give you the customization option to look like an honor guard (it has to be the last one and really hard to get). Also, since they already have the sword and the grav hammer why not add the honor guard spear?
I know the Covenant are going to be in Halo 4.
I agree that Elites need to make a return in Halo 4 Multi-player. I loved the Flight helmet in Halo 3. Please 343, bring back full-customization to Elites armor including full armor or at Least the helmets from Halo 3. They should seriously make a Haunted helmet/armor version for the Elites to be awarded in the last Rank. I was not that happy with the lack of love Reach had for them >=(.
I hope 343i is paying attention to this topic.
They should be, it already has more than 500 replies, most of them supporting. It’d be hard to ignore if they spend any amount of time on these forums. I just hope that they look at this one over the anti-sprint threads.
