I’ve played Halo 4 and I have to say, I’m glad they didn’t add playable Elites. At first, I was pissed they still weren’t in and still angry that 343 had ignored a sect of their community that isn’t violent (or at least to a lesser extent) and sensible. But the more I play it, the more I realize that they wouldn’t fit in Halo 4. I don’t think that they would feel right in it. I don’t know how to explain it, but this is just a gut feeling that they don’t belong in Halo 4. That doesn’t mean I want them in Halo 5. Hell no! They better be in Halo 5! They want to explain that its for canon reasons, that is fine. But they can’t avoid the subject forever. 343 will eventually have to confront the Elite community with this give us Elites. I don’t care if its a spin-off like ODST or playable ones in MP. I personally feel they should be involved in Halo 2 Anniversary. But 343 will have to to face us. They can’t avoid the community. They can’t avoid the Arbiter’s significance (well they could like Bungie did about the other Spartan IIs, but that was a middle finger to the authors). I expect some sort of tribute to the Sangheili in the future. But giving us a middle finger because they don’t want to deal with Elites would be very…provocative…to say the least.

Im sure they where gonna add them at some point but decided to stick to the story like you said. what I don’t get is what my fellow elites in the community. can’t see
What part of “We expected to geta reaction like this” are we not understanding, I look with confidence to see Elites return.

Same, but I’m no good at making and managing threads so I suggest someone who is more skilled in this subject to make it.
EDIT: Brothers! An official halo feedback thread has been created by bs Angel! I suggest we send in our feedback seeing as how she claimed they would be monitoring it, perhaps they will see our distaste for the lack of elites in halo 4 and they can correct their error in halo 5.

Nope. never herd of it. anyway I don’t see much of a way to add them to Halo 4, Halo 5 all the way.

Back on topic, I think the Elites only have a chance at returning in Halo 5, don’t get me wrong if The elites where confirmed for DLC I’d save my money so I can get them

According to my friend’s friend, there is an Invasion code embedded in Halo 4 which could imply that Halo 4 will eventually have Invasion. It will either be Sangheili against human, or human against human. He is searching for the Sangheili codes and will have results within the next few days.

I wholeheartedly agree. Back in Halo 3, I looooved playing as an Elite alongside fellow Spartans. Sure there weren’t as many Elite players, but whenever I saw one, I smiled. Please 343i, bring them back!
