We requested, months before the initial release, that we wanted Sangheili playable, and other things that we wanted, and they did not listen. The excuse of, “it’s not possible” and “there’s not enough space” or “it would take too long” is unacceptable! Bungie did it in the time frame they had, so why they did not supply, is a mystery and is unacceptable.

> Good for them, and that is entirely up for 343i to decide, but you still entirely forget the whole focus of Halo 4 and its multiplayer, as well as Spartan Ops, was to focus on the Spartan IVs life aboard the UNSC Infinity and the missions they go on inside Requiem.

> The DLC and effort required would simply not be worth it, a new HUD, a new player model, and multiple UI changes to allow Elites to be chosen, as well as explaining this canon change to everyone.

> Let’s remember why in Halo 3 & Halo: Reach why we never saw armour DLC, because of how the Halo engine is structured, it would be impossible to pull off without forcing everyone to re-download the .map files for multiplayer, the same case for Halo 4, they can’t add new armour, as well as new player models.

> It isn’t worth the effort in Halo 4, let’s keep in mind that this topic, although it looks big for these forums, doesn’t at all represent the entire community, who’s to say other than the odd twenty-thirty regulars here, would actually play as Elites and use it commonly to the point it was worth doing the update.
>
> Also let’s not forget how such an update to the .map files would completely screw over players with download caps from their ISPs, they’d have no way of downloading the update and actually getting back online on Halo 4 due to this.
They would not have to scrap Infinity would they? Many of the things you have stated are either out of proportion or unnecessary. We never saw Sangheili updates/Downloadable Contents in Halo: Reach and Halo 3 as they weren’t necessary. I am not entirely sure where you were at that time, but if you didn’t notice, Sangheili were playable in both and they both had fine sets of armour.
As for the entire community part. I am pretty sure the entire Sangheili community would rather be playing as Sangheili right now rather than some power ranger with ridiculous hunks of metal strapped to his head. This thread, I believe, was created for all of this community to pitch in and for change to be considered. It is not too late at all. 343 Industries pointed out rightfully that Halo 4 was not a finished game, and I think we can all appreciate and feel that Halo 4 does not feel like a finished game. They haven’t completed the renders, and there are still many glitches that need to be patched.
I think we will see significant changes over the coming months; however, only time will tell.
Finally, just to summarise here, I would like to talk about the player count you said. Roughly twenty to thirty, correct? That divided into each Fleet there is, or rather was, would equal very small Fleets roughly giving each Fleet two players. Now, as I can remember many of the Fleets had well over forty, some even exceeding the hundreds. I would say, collectively, in clans or not, there are over a thousand, in fact well over that estimated count. So, please take the ENTIRE community into account when summarising a point.
