Halo 2 was a life changing game for me. I’d give so much just to have that back. Without Sangheili in multiplayer, I don’t know how I could support future Halo games when my single favorite thing about them is gone. What’s the motiviation for me to play a new Spartan only game? I’ve got Halo CE PC multiplayer for that. I will guarantee that I will not buy any Halo games after Halo 4 that don’t have elites in multiplayer. Why should I? I’ve got Halo 2 and Halo 3? I’d just give up on new Halo games and move on with my life and cherish Halo 2 and Halo 3 multiplayer.
So 343 you want to guarantee that other elite fans (including myself) that they would continue to buy new Halo games? Just add elites into multiplayer. You shouldn’t remove something that has been available for many years. People still like elites and want to play as them. Spartan fans would be upset if they couldn’t play as them. (I know this is an old statement but it still holds)
I just wish 343 would see it from our eyes. Having played as an elite since Halo 2, immersing yourself in the Arbiter’s missions, Halo 2 MP, coop in Halo 3, Halo 3 MP, and Reach Custom games, Elite Slayer/Invasion matchmaking. I wish for this to continue. I am not a Spartan at heart and never will.
Though as long as Halo 2 PC and Halo 3 still have multiplayer I’ll still play as an elite. Even if I have to use things like Xbox Connect. But please 343, don’t spit in our face and laugh at us while we fall out of Halo fandom. Allow us to continue. A little variety in player model never hurt anything. Just look at games such as Quake 3.
Why do us elite fans like elites so much? It’s because we like their honor, their culture, their weapons and vehicles, the want to play as something other than human, and simply how awesome they look!
So, PLEASE GIVE US AT LEAST ONE MORE GAME WITH SANGHEILI IN MULTIPLAYER!

You know it is just sad I was so excited when I heard Halo 4 was coming out just to have that crushed when I heard about no playable elites! Not only do they take them from me but then they make them look like blam, I mean the Zealot looks like a death shrimp with a flower on his head (shudder), the ranger looks like a guppy,and the minor just looks sickly! Then they do stupid language blam in FUD and trailers that make them sound like grunting animals! I mean unlike some other halo fans I actually liked some of the changes 343 was making but not this is not acceptable!!! I will give Halo 4 a chance if only to try to convince myself there was a good reason that I was excited enough to pre order le edition but let 343 be warned if they pull this blam again in Halo 5 I will find another game to fill the void, perhaps Bungies’s new Activision game Call of Halo!!!Very moderator you will not use that to silence me.

Anyway for FUD Sangheili we saw people are getting mixed up if that’s a Zealot. As we Sangheili fans know, that is NOT a Zealot. It’s a Spec Ops Minor. They gave the Spec Ops Minor a good look this is what Spec Ops should be classified as in Halo 4. 343 is confusing us even more. They put a Spec Ops Minor in FUD while in Halo 4 they’re calling it a Zealot which it actually is not. Zealots do not use active camo for any reason. Zealots are commanders on the ground and on ships there is no need for them to use active camo.

the armor isn’t that advanced anyway, but maybe in halo 5 they will be there. Plus this one of the ebst armors I’ve seen, and the reaosn why was because they where trying tof ocus ont he enw enemy, its difficult juggleing 4 factions at once,

I know but all the same I would like them to add arm armor and also,get rid of the flower and, the kitten ears!

I also thought the elites looked cool but i couldn’t tell if it was a spec ops or a zealot. It’s using the armor like we see in H4 wich 343 calls zealot, but in reach it’s basically spec ops. The events take place closer to reach time-wise but its H4 armor. He did use active camobut I think that was mainly for the story and shouldn’t be used to classify him right now. IMO he’s a zealot.
Also, we don’t know the armor is old. It could be new. And i don’t really see Jul as a criminal. Sanghelios is in a civil war and he chose the side that was against the Arbiter and wanted to destroy humanity. ONI then ruined his life and now he’s trying to get revenge by using religious nuts. I hope we get to see more of his story along with the Arbiters.
If you have forgotten Zealots do not use active camo period. Just because this Elite is the same one from Halo 4 doesn’t mean it’s a Zealot. That’s a Spec Ops. Only reason why H4 Zealot is in the game is because Jul salvaged armor for himself and his men to fight against the humans where ever they find them in this case Requiem. I’m sure when they got their hands on the old armor they took the active camo out of it because Zealots don’t use it they don’t even like it. Plus Zealots are the only ones that can command troops and ships not Spec Ops. So the one you saw in FUD P4 is a Spec Ops. Don’t get confused on both from FUD and H4.

You know you really don’t have to adjust the Elites Physical form. It can probably be solved with hit box placement. Even though an elite is bigger. You can simply use a Spartan hit box, Upscale it to fit an elite. Cause if your an Sangheili; Then you remember Halo 2. You were the biggest stick in the MP combat. Meaning unlike a Spartan; Taking cover was a death trap with your hit box poking out. Which in my opinion made playing an Elite funner. In a MLG standpoint; Its like giving your self a Handicap to make Multi-player more challenging by being more prone to head shots than a Spartan.
Needless to say I understand in Halo 3 elites where near impervious to the head from the back which hinder sniping and SWAT Game play. Eventually in Reach the hit box seemed to somewhat even out but could still be adjusted to fit game play. This how ever requires work. Is the developers willing to tackle that challenge? Even if the hit boxes are to hard to nail there is the object of adjusting the elite to fit said hit boxes.
Personally I was slightly disappointed with Halo Reach; I love the armor concepts they did for Sangheili. That 343i deserves props yet lacking customization made me feel as if I got shafted and if I wanted to be slightly unique. I would have to be a Spartan, Needless to say that is not hard since game types in reach purely focus on Spartan vs Spartan game play. Leaving not but Invasion as a wide source to be an Elite. Don’t mention the luck it takes to fall in a Elite Game type. Sadly the only aspects of Reach that allows you to be a Sangheili is Forge and Custom Games [Which I might add is another thing about the Online Halo community discerns me. The lack of Custom games.] I remember going into a random Lone wolf match in Halo 3 and 1 game later I was in a room with people I just met, playing fat kid or duck hunt.
Perhaps they could of done a role reversal option in fire fight for Reach as well. Pick Covenant Invasion or UNSC Invasion. Image a Firefight match where you are the Covenant assaulting Marines, ODST’s, and Spartans. Fighting the UNSC Might head on.
Not to mention how alot of lore within the Sangheili not only within the Covenant has been left unfulfilled. Personally I like to see a Campaign centered around the Covenant perspective like in Halo 2.
So it comes down to it; Perhaps in future reference even tho its been stated that Elites wont see Halo4 MM. Maybe when they attempt to do another Halo Game or something of the sorts perhaps they can try adjusting the hit box on the elite to meet halo. I sure love to have that Halo 2 challenge by being the bigger target again or the Customization of Halo 3 meets new age Halo Customization. Just think, You could pick your alter ego and then unlock the Elite armory or the Spartan armory. It would even allow more unlocks for those who got it all and finds themselves with so many credits to do nothing with.

You may be cancelling your pre-order because your preferred multiplayer skin isn’t in the game?
What makes or breaks games for you has nothing to do with gameplay, story or atmosphere? All that it takes to go from spending no money to sixty dollars is a skin?
