This is true. Some people may think it is stupid to care about elites’ presence in MM so much, but when you have been an elite from Halo 2 days, you just don’t want to see them go. Especially when elite clans and the Elite Community are depending on 343i and Halo 4 to right Bungie’s wrongs on Halo:Reach.
I fully support sangheili in halo 4 and with the new art direction they should look awesome.ps I prefer elites with enclosed helmets like the Assault Harness makes them look more professional.

If the elites return, I want them to return as wholey as they were in Halo 3 days…
complete equallity with spartans in every way, customization, stats…
We need them back… halo will just feel like “Call of Duty: Modern-Modern Warfare” without them.
Halo 2 and Halo 3 were great because of the mixture of Spartans and Elites in multiplayer… Reach lowered the standards in that retrospect.
The Elites have always been an important part of the halo series, even if they are not in the H4 campaign, we need them in multiplayer. Makes the game, more interesting
Agreed brothers. I am nothing without Halo:Halo is nothing without Sangheili. I grew up in halo and on halo CE I seen elites and always wanted to be one on that game. I realized that they truly are the best at everything on halo. I mean, brutes and hunters may be tough and brutal, but Elite can move faster and are skilled to use that brutal force. Grunts are just pathetic cowards that make it hard for elites to use a battle strategy. Hunters are getting less responsive every new halo. And if it wasn’t for the elites, the human race would be gone because of the flood or killed by the covenant anyway. And the flood itself would have consumed the galaxy if it wasn’t for the Sangheili. I never had live on halo 2 and even for the longest time I didn’t have it for h3. When I got h2 an I could play as an elite, it changed my life on halo. Honest and sworn on the worlds last seconds that if I would have not been able to play as an elite in halo I would have quit that game. When I was little I played h2 over and over and over and over and over but only on the same levels. And those levels were the arbiter levels. When h3 came out I was already looking at the awesome -Yoink- elites that kicked ads in that game.i was PO that you coudnt play as elite in that game untill I found that u could on live. And every time I played on campaign live with friends, I always said to my friends that they have to invite me last or I wont play campaign, reason being is that 3rd and 4th are the elites. Most my life I was raised on h1 and h2 and I have a lot of my cousins and neighborhood friends come play halo. About 3 of 25 people were Spartans. And they switched. I am trying my best to bring everybody into the halo world and into the elites. HEY LiSTEN TO ThIS; I Know you may not like squeakers or newbies on halo, but we were all one at a time, and I myself had to face jerks and name calling when I was a sqeaker but I mad it through by my self and I didn’t let my guard down to those people that hates elites, what I’m getting at is that ALL OF YoU need to grab all the new players and pursausive squeakers and bring them into the Sangheili side of halo before its to late. So I thank all of you who use your time to read my story on this topic and my gratitude towards my favorite part about halo. Amen
In the Q@A, they stated that the covenant are in halo 4, but are the least of your worries. Seeing that elites are one of THE flagship races in the covenant, it is safe to say it is 99% certain that elites will be in the game playable; since you were able to play with them since halo 2, why would they stop now?

Elites have been in every halo game; even ODST had elites, technically only dead elites, but still had elites in it. You really think 343i will take out one of the most iconic foe types in halo? I bet the entire covenant will be back exclusively in firefight mode for that matter!
And besides, it is fun to kill elite players and listen to their crazy sounding death noises.

I would love to see all different options for armour like:
Eyes
Helmet
Chest
Shoulders (left and right seperate)
Wrist
Boots
Details (includes honary gold lining, Council blue lining etc)
Voice (includes dogmatic and several other elite voices)
What do you guys think?

I have an armory thread that has Elite armors in it.
I’m really hoping for an Honor Guard set for the Elites.
These are very good ideas, but we must be realistic. We will be very lucky if we get elites in MM period. We should be satisfied with that for now. If 343i have considered bringing elites back into MM, they will probably make new armor, and returning armor.

so you saying the UNSC will fight off the new threat alone? they could hardly hold themselves vs the covanant, elites have to be a huge part…
EDIT: actually that could be possible…after all weapond upgrades by forruner tech may be power ful
