> if Elites where playable in Halo 5 what armor would you want to wear for an Elite.
Ummm…I like to see upgraded armor for the Elites and I mean all of them. I like to see though if we can have the Counselor armor or Honor Guard armor on Halo 5. They were cool in Halo 2. Seeing how rank system works by getting money is easy to obtain armors for both Spartans and Elites but I also like the idea of a mix on obtaining armors on both money and achievements. Like in H3 you had to obtain certain armor on both Spartan and Elites by getting achievements. So H3 had armor attachments I like to see that for H5 for a mix of both getting achievements and money. Since we have alot of armor for Spartans we need more Elite armor so lets have the Counselor or Honor Guard.
As for the armor I always wear Zealot. I like to see an upgraded version for the Zealot and NOT H4 style one that came out as a action figure. Seeing that armor looking like the Spec Ops and calling it a Zealot armor just makes me puke. Its nothing like a Zealot at all the orange is ugly its like a brown orange.
Kal Ontomai, thanks for the reply! That wraps it up pretty good, one last question, I’ve heard some people are into Elites spiritually, is that true?

I haven’t run into anyone like that, but I guess it’s possible.

Definitly Arbiter armor but make it rare like the haunted helmet or the red flames. Honor guard would be cool too.
BRING ELITES BACK 343!!!

You don’t need to keep saying that you know, we’ve got three years until the next game releases…
Anyway, I’d say honor gaurd, the big special helmet ones from halo 2…
On a side note, anyone notice Avu changed his name?
Jesus, Matt (avu) has 652 thanks on the OP…
I remember when we were going for a hundred

for me the asetic, or the commando, or the spec ops.
> On a side note, anyone notice Avu changed his name?
He is going to college or guard school (no idea which type though) and so changed his name so as to keep himself working and not keep coming back to his passion of playing halo and running the Sangheili clan the CSF. I am under the impression when he finishes college/guard school he intends to change his name back to a Sangheili one.
Anyway as for armour I would like to see.
Assault from H3
Combat from H3
Minor from HR
Honour guard H2
Officer (HR and H4 variants)
Zealot HR
Spec Ops HR
Ranger HR
Commando H3
New armour would be cool too if it followed the established design styles of the Sangheili and not a giant leap in design methology.
Yes, put in the Sangheili. Even though I am a Spartan, being an Elite can be fun sometimes. Assassinations, speed, and height are all different and this makes it fun to be an Elite.
Avu is currently looking for colleges that will give him good wrestling benefits. He’s hoping he can find a college that will allow him to play his Xbox. He told me today that he won’t have any final decision until his college visits are over in November.
I just wish 343 opens there eyes and relize what they have done…hey, that ryhms…hope when they relize what they have done, they would fix it

Hmm it sure does owo

I am certain some of those armors would come back for Halo 5

Yep. I’d like to see Flight again. I liked that Helmet.
> Yep. I’d like to see Flight again. I liked that Helmet.
If you think about the Flight helmet was suppose to be the redesign of the H2 Ranger but no Jetpack till Reach came out. Both are similar because the armor is suited to handle the vacuum of space. Other Sangheili do not handle it hence in Reach you saw many died on the Corvette and Rangers took over to handle the situation in the control room along with Ultra Unggoy. Seraph and Banshee pilots in space have Rangers inside not other Sangheili. So the Flight is a Ranger if you look at it and it’s profile suppose to be an upgrade of the H2 Ranger.

Halo 2 Ranger
Flight
While they are similar, they are not the same helmet re-worked.
And you never specifically see a Banshee or Phantom Pilot in Reach.
Rangers are Spec-Ops Operatives, while they COULD pilot banshees, seraphs, phantoms, etc…they do not, because if the craft they are flying has air inside, sealed helmets aren’t necessary. Rangers are purposed for Combat, Zero-Gee Combat, and Zero-Gee Maintenance, not as Pilots.
I’d also like to mention that that wasn’t a control room, it was a Communications Room, and the personnel died in that room when the shield over it was disabled so that the UNSC Infiltration Team could enter.

Yet it was suppose to be a remake of the H2 Ranger which it didn’t seem right to Bungie for some reason since their description on the Flight Elite is similar to that of the Rangers working in space, they are similar to work environments. Ranger Sangheili can become pilots but only in space due to being in outer space. So the ones we’ve seen on the Long Night of Solace space fight, Rangers are the ones piloting the Space Banshees and Seraphs. It is due to how fast its going and how much of that outer space air the cockpit is getting. I’m sure Minors and Spec Ops can’t handle it they would die right away if they piloted one.

Rangers are fleet security as of the definitive visual guide.
> Rangers are fleet security as of the definitive visual guide.
The visual guide has mistakes in the book I have noticed it in some mistakes when I read it and look at the pictures. Not sure why but Halo Nation pointed out on a few mistakes in it. Books are a great source of information for Halo fans, but sites are as well when they spot mistakes in books.

Look, what I’m saying is, it doesn’t have to be something we’ve seen before piloting the craft. The Forerunners are never shown, yet they are the base of the Halo series. RANGERS DO NOT PILOT SPACECRAFT, PILOTS DO.
Rangers are specifically for INFANTRY engagements.
And just asking, where is your proof the Rangers are, without a doubt, the pilots?
