Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

> I know you guys love Elites and so do I, but you need to stop being so blind and arrogant. It just is not possible right now and it is definitely one of the least important things for Halo 4 to have.
> Just restrain yourselves and wait to see what the future holds.
> 343i listens to the community, give them time and they will listen and they we see if they can do anything about it.
> Heck, they gave us dropable weapons.

I don know if arrogant actuley fits theire discription, I wouldn’t worry about that though, most of them are pretty calm now, and waiting for Halo 5 when it starts. aand then theires rumors of a Halo 2 anniversery comming along, but thats another story.

and yes 343 does listen, evan though the feedback from the Elite fans won’t change the game for there favor, they will keep it in mind for Halo 5.

A few people mentioned earlier that elites will advance their technology very slowly because they depended on the prophets for technology, but that wasn’t a nessecity, it was a luxury. Elites are naturally very intelligent, they just have a culture that depends on military might, now they will have to advance their own technology, they have done it before, they can do it again. Elites should return to halo 4, definitely for forge and custom, and I’d like to see them in matchmaking, prehapes in a return of invasion. They shouldn’t be on par with spartans, they are stronger, that’s a cold hard fact, they live on a planet with higher gravity than earth, thus the need to be stronger, they have a double set of pectoral muscles, which contribute to incredible strength. They have two hearts and are intelligent. Fact. Elite shields on a minor and major weren’t weaker/on par with mjonir because that was the best they could do, it was because in there eyes low ranks don’t deserve the powerful shields they can make. The elites made the energy sword themselves, by reverse engineering forerunner technology and basing it on one of their own earlier weapons.

Any way, my rambling on why elites are badass is not what this thread is about. As I said, they should return in invasion. Invasion was amazing. I’d like to see them return in other game modes. Sure, in reach they ran faster, had better health, jumped higher ect, but they were also much bigger. Whats easier to hit, a human (I’m estimating spartans stand at around 6’10) or a 7’10 alien monster?

Maybe it’s too late in production for halo 4, but they should definitly be in halo 5

Halo 5 is your best bet, but I think they should have the elites be an equal ground in terms of streangth and speed, sense the strangth and speed is what limited them to certain playlists, also they would have to give the Elites an Armor that doesn’t look anything like the rebels, like make a diffrent set of minor armor, and that would be the armor for the Playable elites, however if the Elites do become limited to some playlists in Halo 5 I’ll atlest be greatful that the’ll be playable at all.

As long as elites are playable in customs and viewable as a lobby appearance I wouldn’t complain too loud if elites had no mm presence in halo 5. The problem with this is that at the current time the models of the SIV and elite are so far apart height wise that it would be impracticable to implement them.

I am pretty sure spartan II’s are as strong or stronger than elites. Anyway I think they could implement elites canonicaly quite easily, all they have to do is say it is a hologram protection like the war room that is around the spartan.

And if that is not possible, they might as well be added into stuff like Custom games…if that works out that is.

Agreed.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…

Sod off dinos, we don’t like you.

Okay, as much I want them in customs Im not sure how they can incorperate that in, of coruse I would be happy if thats what they did but I think thire not in customs either, So I’ll wait for Halo 5 to play as an Elite, right now I will focus on Halo 4.

Define “We” because you look more like your speaking for yourself.

Speak for yourself. As soon as you get 1,000,000 other Halo players (roughly half the Halo community), then you can count it as a “we”. But otherwise, I’ve only seen a few hundred Elite haters. You believe we are the minority in this, but actually, its you haters. Sorry to disappoint.

Edit: Let me correct myself on the Halo population. Its around 5,000,000 Halo player world wide. So get half of the Halo community to agree with you (I’m sure you can do the math), then you can speak for the community.

Don’t pay attention to him, Just focus on the subject here.

Wow this thread is STILL going? Didn’t think there was too much of an Sanghelli community of these forums.

If we are doing cold hard facts it’s like this:

Yes, Spartan players that don’t care whether Elites are in or out are a Majority BUT.

The next majority is Spartan players that would rather see Elites in the game.

Then comes the Minority of Elite players.

Then comes the SMALLEST minority of Elite haters.

The SMALLEST minority, is the one of people who don’t want them in the game. And that’s without combining Elite players, with Spartans that support Elites in the game.

So MANY MORE people want them in than out. And everyone else just doesn’t care either way.

Over 600 people disagree with you. I don’t see too many people agreeing with your statement however.

elites are not in matchmaking for halo 4. End this thread. Discussion over…

Theyre not attempting, theyre doing.

I guess teabagging, trash talking, glitching, and lag is now canonical then.

Yes, please, point out to us the the thing everybody and their grandmother realized ages ago and have moved on from and ignore the more recent news.

Remember Tho, 343i stated that all of Halo 4’s Multiplayer is based off of The Infinity, and iDoubt that the UNSC would generate virtual Elites :stuck_out_tongue:
