It’s possible to balance them, but its obviously a hill to get over. Hope 343 is up for the challenge.
As for a few posts back, I saw someone say Invasion was confirmed in Halo 4. I’ve been monitoring some of the Halo 4 feed for a while now and I haven’t seen anything about that, so if anyone can get me a link to show Invasion is confirmed, that would be great.
As for elites being out, like I’ve said before, the technology and aspects the covenant offer the UNSC are too great and vital to fighting a civilization which is far more advanced then the both of them. I stand by my previous bet: we have not seen the last of playable elites.
ok,… i didnt hear about invasion either, but what i think i did hear is that something similar to it or it in a varified form will come back. But what will it be like… and what species will be playable is interesting… for i can imagine humans invading forruner land…but cannot imagine forruner invading humans…and humans vs humans will be weird, and that just leaves the last option to covanant which makes most sense to me

Thats the Idea I keep bringing up, sure they would have to balance them,
but if they do this it would give a big benefit for the following.

Hey guys, my electricity has been out for the past EIGHT DAYS! So yeah, sorry about that. Anyways reading over the last few posts I have to point out that while I think we might see a forerunner character in the future I don’t think it will be the promethean knight because it appears to be mechanical.

Kiki said that there’s no way the couldn’t do it, as it’s part of Halo, in an interview during E3. I’ll try to find a link.

We have to demaned it first but also remember this game will push the xbox 360’s capabuilities to its fullest, and remember we have yet to see any character on a first person shooter as DLC, I don’t think it can handle it.

Johnson was already in the game. It was unlocked through a code.

Johnson was disc locked content unlocked via a pre-orer code, not DLC.

It isn’t hinting at anything, under your context, Moa’s will be playable in Halo 4 as well as Teddy Bears.
There are Elites avatars, but we know they ain’t playable.

A preorder bonus dlc yes.
Maybe 343 could make it up to us by giving us an Elite themed map set on an elite base on Requiem or on Sanghelios.

that would be nice, but I think canon suggests that non of the storytakes place on there home planet.
Remember this? I think it is entirely possible to add armor/skins to this version of the overhauled engine, just like Halo 2. I believe bungie found a way to do it, but it may have been glitchy or something. Point is, It could be possible now.

Certain Affinity was doing that map pack, not Bungie.
343i did indeed find a way to do it, but if that same way will still work in Halo 4, is unknown.
Considering that the Elites are of a higher height than Spartans in Halo 4, it would require a lot more work than Armour DLC, the hitboxes would need to be changed, which is a lot more extensive.

That armor was added to a single map on a devkit.
halo 4 needs 8 giga of your memory…sooo, why not allow just some of that space to be for elites?
