Many elite clans will stay on halo reach or halo 3 if elites are not in halo 4. My clan is supporting this thread, but there is a slim chance we will get what we want. In a ‘spartan supremacist’ halo community, there is not much room left for elites, unfortunately.
However, I will still fight on until we achieve our goal.

PLZZZZ bring back the Sangheili! Halo is nothing without them. And as for the energy sword, i would like to be able to dual wield them like the arbiter. =D

Also, the game will have new vehicles and weapons. Lets keep in mind that if elites are going to be in halo 4, elite players will get to experience all of the new and old weapons and vehicles that are introduced into the game. Halo 4 clearly has the potential to be a revolutionizing experience for elite players. 343i just has to provide the Elite Community with what we desire.

I am definetley looking forward to the vehicles and weapons. I want to see them bring back the covenant warthog (Halo 2’s warthog style covenant vehicle that i cant for the life of me remember the name of) and i want to see a new weapon added; the energy stave. The energy stave was a weapon held by the honor gaurd elites in halo 2 during some of the ceremonies you would see. since they probably have a CTF mode in halo 4, i think the energy stave could be worked in easily, being a halbard style weapon with a large energy blade on the top.

Thats a flippin awesome image! I’ve fought for more Elite popularity since Halo 2 but by the time Reach was released I had given up, I remember being made fun of in many matches because I was an Elite. Especially in Halo 2. But I ignored them and kept on playing!

While this post is generally taking on a life of it’s own. We should host an Sangheli community night sometime, Were we can gather together all the various clan’s and enjoy the benefit’s of being an Sangheli, we gotta show 343 that we are still here, still Elite’s, and still kicking -Yoink-.
It has been confirmed Covenant races will be in Halo 4 so I highly doubt they would exclude the Elites. I’m sure they will show up somewhere. They should be playable in Firefight, fighting side by side the Spartans as well IMO.
I’ve cast my thanks towards the OP. Not sure that it will accomplish all that much, but still. I hope that Sangheili make their return as playable, as I wish to be part of an Elite clan, which is admittedly somewhat difficult without the Elites.

If you have halo 3, you could join my clan. The Commander Elites is an all elite clan on halo 3 until halo 4 comes out(assuming elites will be reinstated into halo 4 matchmaking.) Messsage me if you are interested.
