I am so sorry guy. 343 is not going to have Elites in Halo 4. Source: Gameinformer May 2012 Magazine. I think they MIGHT change their min, but it depends. I personally would really hate to see Elites go.

While 343 could go with this, there is only one reason I could see it happening like that:
They couldn’t find any means to balance Elites out for Multiplayer. Not a single thing they could do to help balance or fix them.

OP’s title: “Sangheili (Elites) in Halo 4 Multiplayer”. I realise it was first an appeal to get Elites in the game. That purpose is now moot. However I’d like to join in on the move to get Elites in Halo 5 and 6. More so than that I’d just like to see the consequences of the Arbiter’s involvement from Halo 3. It’s a shame to remove a great plot device after we Finish the Fight.
If that is the evolved topic I’d suggest to OP to change the title which may be the reason you get more responses like mine. Also, if this is no longer Halo 4 related shouldn’t it be moved to General?

Playable or not the covienant and the elites a big part of halo.

And also, playing as them is a whole lot more better than just killing them as AI’s…
I am so very pleased with all the support the Sangheili community is getting. It would be an utter tragedy to see the Sangheili stay as NPC’s in Halo 4. Elites have been playable since Halo 2. It is more than a community. This is a conglomeration of dedicated Halo players and die-hard fans who aren’t giving up without a fight. We need all the support we can get to keep this subsistence in check. I value everyone’s input as long as it is logical and credible. The Sangheili, as Avu stated, have made enormous appearances in the Halo novels as well as the main story-line. It would be quite a shame to not have them incorporated in Halo 4. 343 Industries, I hope you have the time to read everyone’s input and to make the change where the scope would warrant one.
