Im a 50/50 with Spartans and Elites, and don’t let the haters get to you. they don’t evan know, that there attitude is the reason why Elite players don’t wanna be a spartan.

I will still be around, don’t worry about that. I just won’t be as… In force as before… I’ll mostly be watching from the guidlines, commenting occasionally, defending if need be.
And I’ll still be on waypoint, but once again, not as much. My brain needs a break from the tension etc, especially since my schoolwork (I do an online program) is almost over and I’m preparing for exams etc, so that brings a lot of tension in for me as well…
But I’ll still be here, no worries on that.
EDIT: I’ll be on every weekend like I am now, commenting as much as I need to…
I’ll give you guys as much support as I can in the hours I’m on.

If this thread dies more topics of the Elites will keep comming uo more frequentley and flood the fourm, we don’t want that to happen.

Would you like one thread on elites thats easily ignored or hundreds of them flooding the main page and other forums?
It’s quite sad that elites will not be included in multiplayer. Many machinima’s will receive damage and may have to remain in Reach or halo 3.

If they actually did replace Elites with Promethean Knights I’m not gonna lie, not only will the hitboxes be in every way worse than everyone claims Elites did. And they would be going against their “Infinity Multiplayer” Plot. So those rumours are very likely untrue. And if they were true, it would just make me even more pissed off that they didn’t include Elites.

I doubt it would be the Promethean knight though maybe a enemy similar to a Spartan or elite in size

I can’t think of what else it would be. To be honest, the new enemy is now revealed. And the Energy-Shielded Spartanesque characters in the Promethean faction are the knights.

Agreed. I find it ironic though, that the moment they comment here they immediatly give this thread a boost and something to reply to, elongating its life span.

Firstly, they would rather have their opinion known. Secondly, this thread in particular has a better motive for elite players, so if you wanted to voice an opinion about elites being playable, this is the place to do it. Lastly, playable elites have presented nermous issues over the years and it was a step in the right direction to avoid those confrontations with both Reach (In a non-elite playlist), and now with Halo 4. I hope the circumstances can make the elite more appropriately balanced by Halo 5, if ever.

the elites would always be in the Halo MP but sense they where trying canon it was why the Elites where out, Still I would prefer to see them in playabe. heck if ther ein custom games Im sur emost of the elite community whould/should be satisfied for that, but Halo 5 might be there way in.

Translation: The elites should always be in the Halo MP, but since 343i is placing canon within MP, Elites are out. Still, I would prefer to see them in MP as playable characters. Heck, if they were in custom games I’m sure the elite community would be satisfied for that, but Halo 5 might see them return.
Wow, that almost gave me a headache. But to point: we all know this, my post was pertaining to forum posters coming in with a sentence or two saying they are happy elites are gone and the elite community not recognizing that is how others feel and when they post to leave the thread, they don’t realize there is no other elite thread to post about 343’s decision to remove them and further, that the Halo 4 section doesn’t need another one.
