Frankie did say that covenant will be returning in H4, however they won’t play as big of a role as they have in previous Halo games. The only thing I can see right now is them returning to invasion. That is, if they don’t get replaced by our new enemy.
The Sangheili could easily be weaved into this story though… And i would rather them not appear in the game at all then be subject only to invasion (which i rarely play) or elite slayer which no one picks. Thats just insulting.

Wow, very glad you reminded me, i had never actually done that and ive been here for all 23 pages…
All i want is the elites back so i can continue to kill (and occaisonally play as) them.

ha yes i would love to see elites return i would love it even more if they were our allies in the campaign as well. check out my thread about arby making a return in halo 4 i want to see what you guys think arby thread

Thank you for reminding me about invasion. Maybe we will have them, but also the invasion gametypes could still work w/o dinos. Just saying.
Bring the dinos back for use in all playlists in multiplayer!
I’ll sign to this. I miss seeing diverse teams of Spartans and Elites like in Halo 3. Sure, it didn’t affect gameplay, but it still had a nice feel to it, if that makes any sense.
um. i hope this topic doesnt get burried…again for people just keep posting so many new ideas for halo 4…This one is more important then their complaints…we ask for one thing, and one thing alone…and that is to play with sangheili in multiplayer…so please

i know what you mean i support you elites to the fullest i want to see you guys running around with me in halo 4 and as for all these complaints on the forum… its depressing to see how many people are already coming to the conclusion that halo 4 will be bad when they have only seen 15 seconds of gameplay and know nothing about how it will work i will always have faith in the halo franchise and i do think halo 4 will be great but it tears me apart to see the community complaining so much about a game that isn’t even out yet and its a halo game…

I just realised, if we can get a reply from them stating which weapons are going to be in the game, we could end this mess. Think about it, the energy sword has been around since halo 2 multiyplayer. So if we ask them whether or not the energy sword will be returning, we have our answer. Why you ask? Because the only species to use the enorgy sword in the halo universe is the Sangheili. So if the energy sword makes a return, then the sangheili must also, because if not, then there will be no canonical reason to have the energy sword in the game.
