While the elite community is pretty small you have my support for playable elites in multiplayer even though im not affected I want everyone to be as happy and content with Halo4 as possible.

I kinda figured it would go ither way for Campagin doesn’t surprise me since we have been playing Master Chief in Halo CE, H2, and Reach. shrugs I thought it would go ither way kinda knew it my guess was correct.

You are a Spartan in Reach even some players customize their armor as Master Chief if you have played Reach. 
To me I’m assuming Halo 4’s campaign is gonna be like this since the armors are customizable. They’re going to mix campaign as back to CE days with Reach for the players for Campaign Co-Op that’s my high guess on this so no surprise to me. If you guys think about it Halo 4 we have seen has Spartans and confirmed you can customize them just like in Reach. Hearing that interview from the video that you will be playing like Master Chief in Co-Op Campaign or be your Spartan self you customize. If not we’ll just be playing as Master Chiefs like back in CE and Halo 2! 4 Chiefs for price of one.
There certainly could be gametypes relating to invasion. The canon part of that type of match would be to better prepare spartans for fighting the rogue covenant that remain after the peace treaty.
See I don’t get how Spartans playing Griffball and Ghostbusters and HaloBall can be considered canon while the holographic representations of a species with a fractioned opinion on humanity “doesn’t make sense”.
How can people claim this when surely they would:
A) have Arby’s elites on the Infinity to train the Spartans
B) have holographic elites on the infinity to tran the S4s for possible combat with now hostile elites.
C) S4s simulated as elites for training purposes (physycological warfare)
Surely if the Infinity can simulate full environments (with ambient life BTW), then it would have little problem simulating elites.

I was disappointed in Reach when the armor for elites where non-customizable. I want to play as an elite and mix and match his armor.

A) Arby is [EDIT: probably] dead and every elite in Halo 4 is a hostile. Check game informer and IGN for that. (specifically the after e3 articles)
