Anyway, why would the thread get locked over the title? I’m going to point out we ARE discussing elites in halo 4 matchmaking, but as a possibility.
There hasn’t been reason to lock this thread except for some personal attacks, which I quickly aplogized for on the other persns behalf…

Not trying to dive too deep into it, but War Games is the reason why most of the Custom Game stuff will make sense, they aren’t exactly going to invite the enemy in to play with are they.

What does that have to do with anything? Promethean Knights stand twenty feet tall, so they can’t be in multiplayer.

Im pretty confident that most of them might, sense I think they will return for Halo 5

War Games is Matchmaking only, and some playlists won’t be part of War Games. Forge and Custom Games will be completely different part of Infinity Multiplayer.
Also, why would spartans be playing infection and other custom gametype modes? If anything, they would just mainly be training in Slayer, Assault and some kind of invasion type game mode.

Campaign focuses on Master Chief. Master Chief is not an Elite.

I think he means some sort of spin-off like ODST. Or something like the Arbiter’s levels from Halo 2.
I highly doubt their will be Elites as Co-Op characters, and definitely not in Spartan Ops, as you play a YOUR Spartan, just like in War Games.
I think the next thing 343i needs to adapt is Gears’ Horde/Beast mode. That way nobody is left out who wants to play a certain species.
