Although the Q & A with Frankie did reveal that Covenant will make an appearance, there is still not solidity around Elites, specifically in Multiplayer. I am somewhat disappointed that question didn’t make it.
I know I want confirmation about Sangheili in Halo 4. What about you?
343i I know you like to use your mysterious trolling ways, but we would be very grateful if we knew if we could play as the sangheili we all know and love. As the previous 22 pages demonstrated, we are very committed to them and we really want to be sure we can have the fun of saying “wort wort wort” in halo 4 while being elites.
Seeing how 343i is trying to bring a storyline to multiplayer and how that storyline at the moment has only to do with Spartan IV’s. I wouldn’t imagine that they are going to be as playable as in Halo 3. Frankie did say that covenant will be returning in H4, however they won’t play as big of a role as they have in previous Halo games. The only thing I can see right now is them returning to invasion. That is, if they don’t get replaced by our new enemy.

Also telling us now whether or not Sangheili are in Halo 4 will save us from greater heartbreak if they are not in and allow us to plan how we will survive as a community into the coming decade. IF they are in MP and you tell us now then we can also plan for our communities future. I would like to point out that we don’t want to be told that elites have X, Y and Z armours; just a simple yes they are in MP or a simple no they aren’t in MP.

I think we’ll be fine. 
I think Iska means that he doesn’t care as long as Elites end up in multiplayer.
By he way, if you agree with the thread, please thank Avu Med Telcam for his post. if we can get over a hundred “signers” I will be a very happy person.

I agree with Iska about the MP part and I want elites always accessible. (not just customs and elite game modes). It is simple what we want as a community:
-Elite character models with as much MP access as spartans
-some customisation (nowhere near as much “bling” as the spartans but some customisation)
-an answer on whether we’re gonna get any of the above
I’ve seen much, much more complicated wants on this forum

When I see things like random weapon spawns and costomizable loadouts, somehow I get the doubt that they do.

I mean multiplayer should follow canon a bit it shouldn’t be taken so seriously. However I just want to continue playing as an elite.
I must say i dont like Elites but i do like killing them. so i would be very sad if they did not make it to halo 4 in a pvp way. get it done 343 for the people who love killing the nasty squid headed beasts. MSG approved by the organization of Spartans who hate fish people.

Yeah I can see what you’re saying. Honestly I don’t need a reason why i’m suppose to fight other Spartans. Just call it simulated training.

And I like taking out entire clusters of Spartan players like you 
I played Halo 3 today and I was so keen to play as an elite, made me want to play it all the time. Reach ruined that connection between the game and I.
-Note, Making MM canon could be interesting.

You could inplement elites into swat very easily, as for MLG… Well so long as they did it right you could implement the elites into swat. I agree with the armor, but they should make new peices for the elites. Some should look tattered, others new etc. It would give the appearance of the elites real state in the game. I would loooovvvveee to see the elites back in MM. While i may be a spartan fan (actually i’m an odst fan) its just to much fun and way to interesting to see enemy elites or play as them. Many “compettitive players” would argue its not balanced but in my opinion (That of a skilled mixed player [i am competitive and casual depending on the day]) in my opinion it could be easily balanced if the right things were done. And if they dont put the elites into swat, then they should at least put in an elite version of swat.
