Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

> Wow… Ok everyone. So I just looked Moa up, didn’t want to be the guy that did this… But he SUCKED at Halo 3. He probably blamed the ONE Elite on the other team every 3-4 games for the reason he couldn’t get above Major all the time!
>
> I understand you now, Moa. You are butthurt about players being better than you, and you fantasized that Elites were the reason why.

Please…let’s not start a flame wars in this thread, thanks.

I’m not a big Elite fan do to the fact in H3 they were barely customizable and Reach they weren’t at all. I Feel like having Spartans mixed with Elites is less fun. I mean do you see Russians mixed with SEALs in COD? /having Spartans fighting Elites or having Spartan fights and Elite fights separate like in Reach would be more ideal. As long as they make Elites just as customizable as Spartans I would like to see Elites in H4

No reason to stat flame.

Don’t bring skill level into this. I’m far from the best player out there. Moa is giving his opinion on the subject, his skill level has nothing to do with this.

Dont be an -Yoink-.

> Wow. Moa. You talk like the Humans are attacking Elites here. When it’s obvious the Elites in this alliance attacked the humans. I’m pretty sure ANYONE with HALF A BRAIN has already figured out that the Covenant in Halo 4 is just an expanded Servants of Abiding Truth from Glasslands, who ARE TRYING TO KILL THE ARBITER. And Oppose him in every way.

The Simulation is in every respect just a FUTURISTIC VIDEO GAME. It doesn’t take years to program a new character model into a VIDEO GAME it would realistically at that stage of technology probably take less than a day of tinkering. “Scan an Elite” there’s the model. “Put Elite in pod, have pod adapt to Elite’s brain pattern like it would have had to for EVERY DIFFERENT SPARTAN” oh there you go. That Elite is now part of the simulation.

But I’ll say this, five years ago when I first got my Xbox, I was 11 and Halo 3 was my first game, and any one here knows, once your K/D is down for a good 1-2 years, it is impossible to get it back up to anything higher.

You talk like the Elites are one thing, one mind. Like one Elite having an opinion means ALL Elites have that opinion. Not realizing that just like people, they have countries (states), they have factions, they have opposing mentalities and opinions. You are also talking like humanity in 2557 is too limited to look beyond simple racism. When a NERD SITTING AT HIS COMPUTER understands that they are a people, capable of every emotion/thought process humans are. And yes, you did. You implied that despite the fact that the UNSC built the infinity simulator, they don’t know how to use it. They DO, they MADE IT. They could incorperate normal humans, Elites, Jackals, Grunts, whatever they want into it. So your point was completely Moot.

Again you are suggesting that humanity in 2557 is all of a sudden waterhead people who can’t THINK on their own. In WWII there were plenty of Germans who opposed -Yoink!-. Did the US restrict them? No, they actually let Einstein, a GERMAN SCIENTIST work for them.

Humanity is perfectly capable of understanding individual opinion and mentality, and pretending they are just too stupid to, when YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IT. It just limited. You are acting like Humanity is all ONE opinion, and ONE mentality, the same way you are treating the situation of Elites. Honestly, I wouldn’t EVER deem you fit to write a novel, or a fanfiction. Because your view of personality is skewed.

I played my first halo game when I was eight.

I apologize on behalf of legend over there. That was not cool of him at all.

Please don’t be an immature -Yoink!-.

I know what you mean Moa, when I first played Halo 3, my KDr suffered to the point where I actually lost interest in my first Xbox Live account.

To be fair, he is now. The Halo games are rated 16+ in England.

Also, who actually bought their first M-rated game at 17?

Moa has been doing nothing but flame them. Honestly, I’m about to go through and report half his posts for suggesting that the elite fans are “greedy children”.

When he was disproven on several occasions, he should have just backed down. Every point he’s brought up is either self contradictory to something he mentioned, a very narrow, under speculated perception of the fiction or just a restate of an already debunked statement.

He’s running on nothing but pure distaste for Elites. And honestly, I think LEGEND ST had the right idea in claiming that most of the reason why probably had to do with his Halo 3 experience, sure we aren’t supposed to bring up stats. But it IS one of those situations where player performance has a direct impact on their opinion of the matter.

Stating an opinion = flaming.

Excuse us for being a little passionate when we are against something.

Oh god here comes the Elite elitists.

This thread is done for. inb4 lock

Halo: Reach is rated a 16 right?

I believe I am quite capable now, but regardless, you seem to want to go off the Elite topic completely to try and insult me because you can’t back up your facts, let me tell you now, Legend is actually putting up a damn valid argument for his defence against the Elites and he is pretty -Yoink!- good at it, insulting me isn’t going to get you anywhere other than this topic locked.

Comparing humanity in the 1900’s to humanity in a video game in the 2550’s, should never be done, although fair argument.

Humanity is perfectly capable of understanding individual opinion and mentality, and pretending they are just too stupid to, when YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IT. It just limited. After the Elites massacred the humans on Earth, you wouldn’t think they would just drop all the grudges and suddenly be fine with Elites, yes I agree, they have different opinions, but all of humanity are not going to stand there and watch Elites be allies after everything they had done as a part of the Covenant in the past, it is just one of those human response things you know, if someone murdered your family and then suddenly your friend allied with them, you ain’t going to forgive and forget.
Anything I haven’t commented on I can agree for a compromise.

Funny, but this thread WAS actually locked for a second or two…I’ve seen that little "lock"symbol on it when viewing the halo forums…
My guess is this is ><close to being locked.

Trust me, if my Halo 3 experience was the reason for distaste in Elites, you would think I would have stopped playing Halo: Reach a long time ago.

I don’t hate Elites, I truly don’t, their imbalance in the multiplayer side and lack of canon explanation for Halo 4 is what pisses me off solely.

Link I believe has just posted about refraining from personal accusations, I advise you guys do just back off on them before it does get locked permanently, it was locked momentarily just then.
