I agree, People like that guy is the reason why they don’t want to play as spartans in the first place.
anyway, While I’am dissapointed that the Elties will not be playable, the rest of the game looks great, and now Im not sure if most of the population is unhappy with it. but im pretty sure the Elites can still make it for Halo 5 or any other Halo game inbetween.

I’ll admit,I’m kidna upset that it seems unlikly we can play a elites,I liked them both 50/50 and what was awsome about Elites is they added diversity that a whole spartan team will never accomplish,I don’t care if they get what somone folks could call “dumbed down” to be on evens with spartans,in my opinon I think they were always equals.
I don’t know what they plan to do to fix this “itch” but I have a feeling it won’t be able to replace the kind of great feeling players have when they play as the Sanghelli
I’m not very confident about the Promenthians but we’ll have to wait and see,IF they are playable at all
Well they do know that people wern’t happy with the decision they made, that should be atleast proof that 343 does care about every single faction of the Halo community.

Okay, thank you, don’t ever come back. Its rude to come onto this thread and insult everyone.
Still, it is disappointing that there’ not in, but as the MP story evolves in the Halo 5 and 6 games. they might do somehting to make all 3 playable.
Humans are playable in ALL the videogames! and its bored play ever as one, the elites are only playable in halo and now 343 wants remove them and with the multiplayer´s history will be impossible play as another species which is not a stupid spartan!

It won’t be impossible for Halo 5, remember the story evolves overtime, and hey theres no need to insult the spartans either. 343 will have the story fit the elites in, on a later part of the story in the next game.
and actuley Humans are playable in a vast majority of the games, theres other games (but rarely any) where you could play as only monsters,

Yeah it does suck, but the elites can still be inn Halo 5 and 6, Frank did say that they wanted everythign to matter and evan the campaign, they the quote “no elites this time” means they won’t be in this game, but in the next story they will make the Elites Playable Im confident.

I don’t think it’s worth it to settle for maybe next time. DLC may be possible if we keep at it. I’m not going to stop hoping until an employee says no to DLC.

Well Its better to settle with it till next time, then having it naw at your mind, I know how you all feel I was disappointed to, it took me from april 11th to the day of Halo 4 at E3 to get over it. however your free to keep on hopeing for Elites as DLC if you want, but I guarente No First-Person-Shooter has made DLC Characters Before and im not sure if the 360 can handle that for such. unless they make a DLC story for MP that can make the Elites playable.

We never said this. Infact, most of us for the sake of compromise with spartan players and MLG community members like myself have devoted outselves to finding away they could be in the game and still balanced. Whoever thinks we only play as them because of the advantage is an idiot.

DLC is definiltey possible (after a small debate I had with moa we figured it out)
There is a chance they would only be playable in certain playlists and or maps, but it could work. Armor is stored in the .map files of 3 and reach, and since 4 is based off reach, it should be the same. Now, they could make elites downloadable for the maps in the DLC, but thats pretty much it.
We also know 343i had planned to release and EOD helmet for halo reach as downloadable DLC with the map pack, but it never happened. So they must have found a way.
