Halo 3 was the only game in the Halo series I know of where the armor was actually apart of the maps, so DLC armor/elites wouldn’t work. It could be possible in Halo 4 to have DLC elite player models.

Gameplay wasn’t evan the Reason, if anyone has seen the E3 stuff, you did hear frank saying they wanted’ everything to matter and’ connect to the Halo story, thats why the MP story will start out with the infinity training the new breed of spartans, and Halo 5 might take place elsewhere.

Then would you tell us where to show are love for Elites now? This is the only thread on the site that will. Why make another? This will stay alive until Halo 5 forums open, then we will pack our Plasma Rifles and move there.

You never know, they could make a Halo game with Multiplayer that revolves around Marines or ODSTs instead of Spartans sometday. And I guarantee there will be whining.

Ah, but it could. Granted, Its horribly unlikely, but they could make a game focusing around elites or ODSTs, say odst 2. If they did that, there wouldnt be any point in spartans being in multiplayer, as it likely wouldnt fit with cannon.

I was there the minute it was posted…
DLC would be possible, but only for certian playlists due to armor being part of the .map files. It would likely be only allowed or possible on DLC maps.

That was Halo 3 and Reach. Halo 4 doesn’t have to be like that remotely. It’s a new game remember? None of the limitations of Halo 3 or Reach should be quoted. Just like how you shouldn’t assume returning weapons will be the same.
I hate being trapped in a human body I have known people in real life that have killed them self’s because they believed they were an animal trapped in a human body. I may not go as far as killing my self but I feel like i have nowhere to turn but Halo 3 if the elites aren’t gonna be in halo 4’s multiplayer.
Im a human, in real life, and nothing else. wich is my excuse for wanting to play as somehting that isn’t Human in video games. still unlike some of the community who feel they have to choose Spartans or Elites’ Im one of the few thats not biased among them,
so I ask, any others in the house?
yes Im dissapointed that the Elites are not in multiplayer this time, but in Halo 5 Im sure we will most likley get them back again.
and of course this wasn’t the first time a Game dissapointed me.

Granted, except for the fact that Halo 4 uses the same engine as reach. Its possible, but not likely.
