> As long as they are playable in customs, I’ll be happy that way too.
According to david ellis (As prompted by Bumper Jumpz): Elites will not be playable in Halo 4.
Bumper jumpz soon replied with: Does that mean in matchmaking, or all of halo 4.
Ellis: Elites will not be playable in halo 4 at all. Period.
Guys, we lost. And unless they have been pulling our finger this entire time, we aren’t going to get elites in halo 4 mathcmaking anytime soon.
I don’t know why they made this decision, and honestly I can’t find a good reason, but they clearly have one. But they are doing what they wan’t with the game. Now, look at the treads lately, look at the info we have.
Guys, I havent just lost hope in elites, I’ve lost hope in halo. I know they stated that they werent making bungies halo, but I fell in love with three things.
The great story, and the universe around it.
The great gamestlye promoted by an arena shooter, and the universe it created. 343i has changed both those things on me. Halo once stood for balance, and I still loved halo 3, reach irked me, but during the first look I still fought for hope.
AA could work, Loadouts could work, Armor Enhancements could work, but weapon skins, and unlockable system, spartan skins, kill cams, instant respawns, killstreaks…
Guys, I know i sound like a typical ranter, but take a look for yourself. Some of these just don’t work for halo. And i know i have a different veiw on halo than you guys might, but for me, weapon skins and killstreaks crosses the line.
I would stay in the game for one thing, the diversity in which the included species brought us. Campaign and spartan ops is what will keep me here. But with absolutley no diversity in multiplayer, and some of the broken mechanics suggested… i don’t know if I can take it.
I’ll still play, and I will always support the return of the elites. The elites were a fundamental bright spot of halo, and I really, really want them back. They offered an experience no other game has ever offered.
And thats what most people love about halo, is that it is a truly, well crafted experience. But now part of what made it what it is is gone.
