Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

If they dont confirm anything there, i at least want to see another elite in gameplay

> > > I’m starting to think of ways that they could try to make the Sangheili community happy. So I thought that they might give every person who respectfully comments in this thread an Elite like nameplate. Or make some way to unlock an Elite nameplate. This is all becoming rather frustrating. I just hope we get an answer at E3 soon. I want something Elite like in Infinity.

I can compromise a bit. What you’re describing isn’t compromise, it’s being peed on and then told you’re a good boy.

And no, Elites should not be playable only through preorders or the like. The Elites have been a feature of multiplayer for three games, and relegating them to a preorder bonus or day one DLC (unless it was, say, an ODST style campaign starring Elites only) is insulting.

Basically people are loosing faith on the fact that the elites would be in multi-player or not. So far, I’m still one of the guys that still kinda skeptical about it all, but I can only wait and see what appends.

I believe that the elites have been removed just for the spartans and all the newcomers form other games that will only accept playing as spartans.

Btw Seph you need to log in the clan site, as soon as possible. We need to figure out what we will do with the halo 4 thing.

Probably hehehhe…

What? My friend told me it was Abiding Faith!

Puts on coat

Time to pay my friend a visit XD

Did they not already scrap elites in Multiplayer? And I’m sure they wouldn’t be in Forge or Custom Games either since the same Armor Model is used universally across all multiplayer modes. I’d like to have them back, but truthfully, they are taller. They can’t keep hunching them over, it looks weird.

right away…

E3… very soon… cant wait

It is just so pathetic how profit and money can destroy a franchise’s MP

> It is just so pathetic how profit and money can destroy a franchise’s MP

And remind me how the Mutli-player looks destroyed? I think it looks more fun than Reach.

> It is just so pathetic how profit and money can destroy a franchise’s MP

Samples of the Elite community are fine with the changes. Some are upset by it, and others will not respond, the truth? None of it is destroyed. It’s merely on the sideline for one game. Who knows what the future will hold.

My will to play Halo 4 is destroyed, but I wouldn’t say the gameplay is destroyed.

> My will to play Halo 4 is destroyed, but I wouldn’t say the gameplay is destroyed.

How bout we just wait another couple more days…or make that 1 day since its ten minutes from 12 my time and well…see what happens at the E3 by then.

It has been confirmed that E3 will have a few Surprises (the Halo 4 part). What do you think that we will see? Keep in mind that Frankie did neither confirm nor deny the return of old characters in halo 4.

Theory mashup:

  1. Sangheili slaves on the infinity so that Spartans can train
  2. Sangheili AI (their skin is the one of Jul 'Mdama) in the simulation.
  3. Friendly Sangheili, if the arbiter returns as an ally to stop the Sangheili led Covenant.
  4. Sangheili AI simply generated from the system according to the knowledge hhumans have on them.
  5. Sangheili holograms controlled by spartans (via a kinect like controller, or via neural means.)

Can you think of any other reasons?

Maybe you can use they in custom games or something.

Im fine with not having them.

But good luck .

Thanks for the support. I do respect your opinion, unlike that of other players who believe that we must all play as spartans.

Sangheili practicing against spartan players…
just a thought lol

Why would it be so hard to put Elites in Multiplayer? There are some reasons why they could be in.

  1. Elites are helping the spartans train.
    2.“AI” Elites fighting the spartans.
3.Cerebral copies of an Elite being used by a spartan in-simulation.
