The more you tell us to stop, the more we are ever more stubborn to comply to that. Even if this thread was to be stopped and locked up, we can simply make another and continue on from there. In the mean time, we shall continue on what we have currently and never back down so easily.

It’s good to see some frinedly Spartan players for a change. Being a Halo 2 and 3 veteran, I fight against and alongside many spartans. I do not mind them, as long as they don’t mind me being a Sangheili. That is the way it should be.

At first I was like “meh” but after seeing this thread multiple times, I came to realise there are MANY Elite fans out there. Just because we are Spartans doesn’t mean we can’t support the cause. I mean, how long has this been going for? Obviously you need all the help you can get.

Maybe…Im still wondering whatever append to the Allied elites that were with the Arbiter though. I mean, they could be in the infinity for training purposes and such anyways.
All the people trolling in this thread need to stop. Just because you have no respect for elites doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be in the game. Not many people may play as elites but it doesn’t mean that a majority of the players wouldn’t support them coming back.

Elites not being playable in Halo 4 has nothing to do with Canon. Simulations of protagonists(spartans) combating enemies(elites) and vice versa happen in movies and other works. It would actually make sense to include elites because they are actual enemies, or at least the Covenant Loyalists are.
Elites are not in Halo 4 matchmaking because people have complained about them since Halo 2 because they are something other than a glorified spaceman, and those people cannot stand the fact that other players prefer something other than a spartan.
This is a community problem, not a Canon problem. Everyone needs to realize that and take it into account when posts are made on this thread.

I see…I guess people really do need to get out of the old habits of Halo 2 and 3 and need to move on to knowing that the Halo 4 Sangheili models are much more better than the past versions of them. I mean, at least they wont cause the whole Halo 3 swat incident since you could shoot these guys more easily. I really doubt the Halo 4 elites would be over powered as the Reach versions though.

I don’t know if you’re talking about them listening or bringing elites back, but how do you know “they won’t?” This is by far the biggest thread discussing Halo 4. It shows how many people want them back, and how strongly they want them back. 343 has surly seen how badly the community wants them back, and i think it would be foolish if they just tossed aside the communitys opinion.

If I’m selling something like shirts, and my favorite color is brown but the people I’m selling the shirts to want blue, I’m probably not going to make the shirts brown. They want to please their fans so they can sell more.
I admit the elite community isn’t as big as the spartan community, but these are the 2 communitys that compete. What would the spartan community be without the Sangheili community? That would just be the whole community. It’s kind of a ying yang thing. Everything needs an opposite. Playable elites add diversity to Halo. Also this thread has 505 thanks wich shows how many people want them back. Thats a lot more than anything else the community wants back in Halo 4.
To me it is nessesary playable elites make a return. Halo just won’t be the same without them.

I always played as a spartan but every once in a while i would play as an Elite and it let me use variety and if Elites don’t come back we can’t do that and Machinimas will really be hurt by this…
