Sangheili (Elites) In New Trilogy Matchmaking (Part 1)

I’m pretty sure it has been confirmed that there won’t be any Elites in Multiplayer at all which is damn shame and I’ll never forgive 343 for not including them.

Elites and option for flood arm on spartan

Or elites and mp bots

The first is most likely to happen

I don’t really mind not having eiltes playable in halo 4. Don’t get me wrong, I am disappointed. I prefer playing as elites, and I wanted them to return. I know it’s a shame that they won’t be in the game, and I certainly know that it’s going to effect people’s machinamas, but we must remember that Halo 4 is the start of a new trilogy. If we keep this thread alive, then maybe, just maybe, Elites will return to multiplayer in Halo 5.

A weapon called the Storm Rifle is going to replace the Plasma Rifle and Plasma Repeater.

E3 2012 is going to be on June 5, 2012.

In the campaign, it is rumored that the Arbiter and his seperatist forces are going to be helping the Chief combat the Covenant Loyalists most likely led by Avu Med Telcam.

Be on the lookout for more details.

By the way, everyone who has not thanked Avu Med Telcam on the first page of this thread needs to do so now. If you call yourself a true supporter of our cause, you WILL thank Telcam for his contribution.

That is all.

If what you said is true, that’s going to be one awesome campaign!

We can hope that this will happen, and we can hope that Sangheili have not been left behind by the Halo Franchise. I believe that 343i will make things right with this community, for I have messaged a few of the superiors on Waypoint about it. Regardless, they will right Bungie’s wrongs.

Keep up the good work! They do listen.

LastPROMETHEAN, have you thanked Telcam on his Original Post?

> Can we reach 200 pages before the E3?

Most likely. E3 is on June 5th. We still have time.

> LastPROMETHEAN, have you thanked Telcam on his Original Post?

I haven’t but from what i can see he has more than enough. I thank him through other means by posting on this thread, contributing and keeping support for Elites alive.

From what I understand, it’s possible to spawn with Covenant weaponry as a primary loadout. Now it wouldn’t make sense in their “UNSC Infinity” matchmaking realm to spawn with Covenant weapons, would it? For the sake of allowing the loadouts have some allied Sangheili aboard the Infinity training with the Spartans. It just makes sense. I see no reason to even try to make Matchmaking canonical in the first place, but if that is what 343i wants, at least be fair about it.

Why not? Covenant weaponry was more powerful compared to that of the UNSC, The UNSC would get weapons like these either from elites like Thel Vadam or from Jackal Mercenaries. To keep their skills sharp Spartan Soldiers would practice using Covenant weaponry in case they ever had to fight against them again. They would also reverse engineer the technology to make better weapons.

well just an idea, even if maybe too late: if the elites keep their size, they sure are a bigger target. but he elites are stronger too, so they could have less recoil and overheat for weapons too, that would make it kind of equal again. they cud fire weapons faster / with more accuracy, so the spartans dont have a too big advantage.

I am sure I have? Wierd, will do it again!

To be completely honest, one thing people conveniently forget when saying “Elites should be bigger like in CE.” Is that in the few pictures you see of an Elite actually standing next to Master Cheif in 3rd person, they are the same size, AND same proportion. They only made them much larger in the “greater fiction”, and only looked larger in the game because your Point of View was much lower to the ground than your actual model was. But that doesn’t necessarily rely on the games. Halo 2’s Elite models were almost the same as Halo CEs

If that rumor does happen to be true, then the campaign does suddenly sound like it would be fun no doubt. Hell, Makes me wonder how will the arbiter looks like since he might have his armor and such updated. At least not EVERY elite tries to kill the chief.

Even if that doesn’t happen, I’m pretty sure Frankie said that the Arbiter is in Spartan Ops.

Frankie never actually said that. Someone forged a neogaf post. If you go on the actual thread and look up that post number, it’s not there.

But it would make sense, reading Glasslands confirms that there are two major Elite factions, the ones looking for war with the UNSC, and the ones looking for peace. Just like how the UNSC is looking for peace with Elites, while Oni is looking for war.

It’s very probable that SOME Elites are against us, and others are with us. And if there are Elites on our side, I don’t see why the UNSC wouldn’t exploit the fact that they are as physically capable as Spartans, and include them on Spartan Ops squads, and in training on the Infinity.

Exactly. The Energy Sword, assuming it makes a return, is a pure Sangheili weapon. If they’re going to be using it, there has to be Sangheili in the field on UNSC Infinity to train with the Spartans.

The Energy Sword is returning.
