Elites in halo 4!!!1

You know the we can’t understand the Elites in Reach? This was taken from the Deliver Hope trailer with an Elite pumping up other Elites in their language.
I thought it be fitting for a thread so focused on Elites. Has anyone not seen this before? O.O I did find it on TV tropes Reach article of all places…

Is that the same trailer with Thom jet-packing into the Covenant cruiser?
My favorite Reach trailer has to do with Carter’s augmentation. “A Spartan is Born,” is what I think it’s called.

Yeah I’m alive, took a break from studying for finales to see how things were going on this front.
Anyways we have atleast one person writing into the major game magizens about this so someone check those, I’m also trying to contact PaulB from youtube (might try Halo4follower… think he’s started ignoring me since I was correcting his grammar during his early days.)

So here’s a canon reason for an Elite to be on board the Infinity.

While you are mostly right, I must point out something. If you compared the size of Jorge in Reach to a SPARTAN III character, he was massive. He was almost equal in size to an Elite. Jorge if you did not know, is a SPARTAN II like Master Chief. SPARTAN IVs are new to the story and therefore have a chance to be similar in size to Elites without causing a break in canon. I don’t play as an Elite, but I do enjoy knowing I atleast have the choice to do so. Losing that choice would feel… uncomfortable.

Canon shouldn’t have anything to do with it.
In Halo Reach, if you look at an Elite from all angles, his hitboxes are fair and equally proportioned on the body in comparison to the spartan. In fact the only real difference is the size. So literally all they have to do to set them up as multiplayer skins is highlight the Campaign model. Click “Crop”, then “Scale/Scew” to 80% of the original size. And BAM they are the exact same. I tested this myself by taking the original comparison image from Bungie.net, highlighting the Elite, and scaling to 80%, the head? Same size/shape, the body? Same size/shape, even the Arms were in the same positions when wielding an AR vs a Repeater. What’s more is the silhouette lined up perfectly too, the head was the same height, the legs ended at the same place. It would be 100% fair, and everyone would get what they want.

The only potential issue there is that the Elite has slightly more mass in the upper body. But who’s to say they can’t just be a littler thinner up there next time around?
